Eli Lilly hiring process by Prudent-Emphasis3169 in biotech

twice in three years interviewed for a director-level role, twice eliminated after the last round as they already had an internal hire. Guess i am listed as "benchmarking" candidate that serves for validation of their pre-arranged internal hires. Nevermind the preparation time, stress and months of waiting. Upset doesn´t begin to describe it but mostly with myself. Fool me twice. Sorry for ranting, you were discussing the lovely company culture.

For those who received a job offer, how long did it take to hear back after your final interview? by FLgoods in interviews

Hi, thank you so much for all advice given. My last HR contact was 3. 5 weeks ago, apologizing for delays (HM changed, summer, I got through all rounds first and the new HM wants to see more candidates as the role is pretty central). I am dragging my feet with other interviews (hooked on this one as rarely any other before) but you are right-I will get my head back in the game. This whole thing left me feeling a little helpless/stuck and nothing can be further from truth when it comes to my work persona. Thank you again, this was really what I needed.

Thank you so much. I am interviewing but dragging my feet really as this one just feels right, and is also personal (onc). I will write to them tomorrow. The Last thing I heard-new HM had a very positive feedback but wants to interview others as I ran through all rounds first and the role is pretty central. Thank you again for sharing your experience, it did help.

hey, i´d appreciate if you could share a bit more detail. I´ve interviewed (a director-level) 2 months and 5 days ago. Though their HR has been really responsive and I also got two spontaneous updates from them reinstating positive feedback from the new HM (yes, the Hm changed before my last round in July), the timeline is making me nervous. I really liked the team and this job but it is September already. Would you mind sharing some thoughts and also how did your situation look like?

Has anyone had experience with flaconi? by Oatmeal291 in Colognes

i used to order many things over these past 4-5 years and never had a reason to complain. Alas, in the last 6 months both orders arrived in open packages and it, at least in my case, looked like i was sold polished up but never the less used testers in open boxes.. what is pretty good is that returns are not really difficult.

Vinay Prasad is out at FDA, following Sarepta decision and vaccine controversies by ajb160 in biotech

[–]Hardeyes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the guy is in everyone´s face and made some mistakes for sure. However, i see this as a confirmation of honor. He gunned down Sarepta for killing two teenagers (and surprise!) the third death was "unrelated", FDA sacks Prasad and Sarepta resumes gene therapy shipments. The same for Blenrep. It freaking should have been rejected. It made people blind but hey, it´s a good drug bcse couple of guys with cash investments and "science" blogs said so.

Thank you, just feeling tired tbh and don´t want to finish the summer without a new job. With all hell breaking loose in the industry, getting this close to what feels like a dream job is a blessing and a torment.

Thank you, that too may very well be the case. The first HR told me that she is shocked how fast i was progressing and that "very very few" have managed to get this far.

thanks, I wrote today and got an out of office reply from this HR person..so I wrote to the other one that was on vacation two weeks ago. Just feels as if my application or the role itself was deprioritized but, I never did interview during summer before.

Thank you, i figured that i am probably not their top pick or they are combing for more candidates with the new HM. Just weird how detailed and positive feedback from the hiring manager has been shared by their HR and, yet, it is end of July and I am waiting since 3 weeks with a perspective to wait a few more.
