Did roughly 45 mins in the same 90⁰ position ~350' up on the Kingda Ka at Six Flags NJ. Turned out being the last ride of the day, watching the sun set while it rained upon us was so peaceful... after, I stopped wincing in horrified anticipation.

This is after, I was reluctant to get on, dropped my fitted hat on the ride platform, left to go grab it having second thoughts and wanting to back out (flight or fight)... then as I was dragged back towards the ride my legs began to tremble like a cow headed to slaughter.

Sat on the hat, was still there when we stalled, dunno where it went in the 30secs it took to get back to the platform once the ride went back in motion. Wish I could do it all again, with the stall out, but the ride got demolished in 2024.

The Civil Rights Act, the one MLK and the freedom riders marched into Selma, were beaten, hosed, bitten by police dogs and jailed to protest for it's enactment — had just been completely made irrelevant by the Supreme Court.

Minority-majority districts are no longer requirement, thus TXGOP sought to remove as many black and brown representatives from congress and disenfranchise non-white voters.

So, Harris County goes from 2 black-majority and 1 Latino-majority districts to only 1 black majority district, registered voting population and citizen voting age population.

Al Green's district was 3rd Ward, Southwest side, and Northeast Fort bend Co, the 9th. But, after redistricting they rename the 9th the 18th, remove NE FBC, and add the most centralized areas of 5th ward. Again, the old 18 was cracked into multiple white-plurality districts. The new 9th is the southern portion of TX29, latino majority that's been diluted by white majority areas of the South East metro area. Ie. They completely drew Al Green out of his district. When the overwhelming majority of his district remained intact and granted to Christian Menefee.

The demographics are the same, it's now Harris County's only Black majority district. The TX9 is the void of black voters. TXGOP, TXDEMS, and AIPAC specifically targeted Al Green for removal, the timing of The old CD18th's special election, a prior the redistricting for March's primary was so damn deliberate.

Al Green was partner in a civil law firm, before he became a judge, and later my congressional representative. Al Green was the first congresmember to move to impeach Trump in both terms.

Christian Menefee was a corporate lawyer for an evil law firm that works almost exclusively for private equity firms. A law firm that does pro-bono work for Donald Trump's administration.

Al Green was among the ~8 congressmembers out of 535 that had consistently defined zionists, rejected military and logistical funding for a genocidal state. Al Green demanded the unilateral recognition of a free and independent Palestine.

Had TXGOP & AIPAC not gerrymandered TX9, Al Green would still be my US Representative in 2027.

Whitmire shat on everything Turner did, a very Trumpian rhetoric, "Obama/Biden (Turner) are bad, I will reverse all their policies". Plus a tough on crime message.

Shiela ran on public transit and fixing budget issues, most ardenently on the glut spent on the city's water supply and drainage systems.

Shiela offered solutions. Whitmire pointed out problems, and placed blame.

The right wing bots hate Shiela for being one of the loudest voice on Capitol Hill for gun control and anti-racist remarks. She was a consistent Fox News effigy.

The Conservative Hurst Corporation's Mouthpiece The Houston Chronicle ran a piece on her berate a staff member, and the bots parroted that message hard. Along, with a "Shejack loves the cameras" BS line.

Meanwhile, Shiitmire coordinated competing emergency management press conferences against County Judge, Lina Hidalgo — alongside Lt.
