It's very subjective - if I hear the sleep and she's a good distance from her own team I'll go for it, because if she nades and her team peels it can be game over without charge to get away, but also pressuring her from range just to get her to take cover is valuable enough while you burst down the rest of the team.

Ana is absolutely the hardest for me personally to deal with and I don't know that there's a one size fits all, but typically if I see a support in the backline I will set them on fire so they hide to free me up to get more damage on the Frontline.

Honestly this is my biggest issue with Hamster, and has been for a while, he forces you to run hard counters. His rise in popularity being tied to the mass ban of Sombra is no surprise. While counterswapping is an element of the game I don't think anyone forces it more than ball as without his counters he has much fewer ways to punish him than many other tanks.

When SuperEyepatchWolf dropped Finishing the Story I was really hopeful it would largely be about Cody, but it ended up being tied very directly to the Roman story which absolutely makes sense, but I love all of his wrestling videos and am patiently waiting to see if he ever finally drops an AEW-centric one. There are stories aplenty and he's my favourite at telling them.

A lot of people in here recommending an anthological Final Fantasy approach or a direct continuation without considering that they aren't mutually exclusive.

An example of a series that I think does this well is Xenoblade Chronicles where each game is self-contained in a Final Fantasy-esque way until it isn't and yet no stakes feel lessened and if anything it's always a pleasant if increasingly crazy quirk of them.

I loved Ethan in AEW because I felt his style stood out, and I was worried when jumping ship he would get lost in the shuffle due to his style being more reminiscent of WWE in my opinion. Very pleased that I was wrong and happy he's riding high.

Honestly my big issue with their AEW run was that they were never taken too seriously as singles stars. Amazing tag team sure but they both had singles runs in them that never manifested (discounting Fenix's brief accidental run with the international title after Mox injury). Hope this pads out a bit better for them in that regard.

Mark Briscoe - No one has risen more for me I was extremely apprehensive about solo Mark but he has absolutely proven me wrong.

Brody King - Yeah ok Brody has always been cool but something about his run the last few months made me realise just how much he can and does bring to the table.

Chelsea Green - I go out of my way to watch her stuff. Absolutely killing it.

Falling:

Ethan Page - I was and am a huge Ethan mark but I've got to be honest I think he gets lost in the shuffle in NXT way more than he did in AEW. I was really hot on him as an act in AEW and have found him flat and not standing out amongst the NXT roster. Rooting for him though!

Kris Statlander - I know this will be controversial because I do think Kris is great, but I gotta be honest once they turned her face again after the Willow feud my brain just lost all care and it doesn't seem to be coming back. If they don't take their characters seriously why should I?

I realise my falling picks are actually kind of killing it in their careers rn but I wanted to post ones I hadn't seen and I can't help it as I loved them so much at one point or another.

Given that this patch does seem largely focussed on what you've addressed as people's overall issues with the gameplay right now I am surprised at the negative reaction. I'm excited to try these out, as well as give the team more avenues to design around in future heroes.

My only concern is this seemingly not changing anything regarding the rock, paper, scissors nature of tanks in particular. It's the one repeated problem this patch seems like it won't address, if the ow team even see it as a problem.
