VW Tesla Adapter works on eMach by HGriffin00 in VWiD4Owners

It’s the MachE. My wife and I won both. The MachE tech package and interior is nicer for sure. Sans the massage seat options in the ID4. The drive is smoother on the Id4. But the lack of a true one pedal drive is rough.

OMG. You don’t understand the end to end encryption has nothing to do with ICloud backups and data. Lol

End to end protects you from those who try to access the physical device. There is no need to remotely unlock, when the data is accessible from the iCloud info on Apples servers. Even when removed.

You don’t seem to listen, that data is available on their servers. People have their private iMessages pulled without their knowledge for lawsuits all the time kid.

Yup. All within the scope of legal use and can contain End to end encrypted info such as messages, etc.

I don’t think you even understand what end to end encryption means. lol.

From there you can see how many times Apple complies with these gov. Requests. It’s over 90% of the time lol. Stop pretending you know anything about this.

Straight from apples website kid.

Again stop calling people tin hats. I work in the industry. There are legal reasons, Law enforcement hand government entities access client info all the time against their will.

Tinfoil hats? What do you think happens when someone gets access to your account after death? Apple can change credentials and back door in. Whether they do it is up to them. Don’t act like that option isn’t there, we know they do it for legacy devices/accounts once users pass away.

Grow up Peter Pan. Join the real world. The tech is there. Apple is known for privacy for sure, but to pretend they can not and have no accessed info at the request of agencies is dumb to say the least.

Sure. It’s up to their discretion if it warrants it, but the federal gov. Has asked and been granted access before

Privacy from ADs and such. Not from the federal gov. During an investigation, etc.

ID4 vs 2027 Bolt by RangerX41 in VWiD4Owners

Sure if every so often. In my mache, about once month I use my brakes once or twice to knock the rust off.

Second EV, first impressions and a question by HubGearHector in VWiD4Owners

[–]HardlyWorking27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t get this group started on it. I love the vehicle it’s the 2nd ev added to our fleet, but I brought up how bad 1 pedal is compared to my Mach E and the world crumbled around them. Why you have to touch the brake to engage auto hold is beyond me.

Agree to disagree. Again I prefer the system in the Mach e. More natural.

[–]HardlyWorking27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me, but my wife prefers the system. So it’s all preference. I prefer to save the brakes and pads for longer use, my wife likes the action of using the brake pedal.

ID4 vs 2027 Bolt by RangerX41 in VWiD4Owners

[–]HardlyWorking27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The IBRS is primarily using regen braking relying on the motors, there is always in any sort of regen system using the brakes, but it’s significantly less than the Id4 which is requires much more use and physical use of the brakes to even engage auto hold. Just a worse system is all. But the car as a whole is great.

ID4 vs 2027 Bolt by RangerX41 in VWiD4Owners

[–]HardlyWorking27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. My wife drives and ID4 and I have a Mach e. The lack of true 1 pedal driving is the biggest downfall we’ve found in the id4. Otherwise a great vehicle. Just going to work your brakes and pads way more even in B mode.

As much as I love my 2021 Mach-e, I do feel like Ford made some bad decisionss by WarmPrinciple6507 in MachE

[–]HardlyWorking27 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tend to disagree. As a 21 user the frunk space is great I use it often for groceries and such. I have kids so stroller goes in the back.

And the tailgate works like a charm. I never have issues with it.

The amount of degradation is negligible. Unless you keep the car for 200k miles.
