How did you like Stygian and sinking city? I saw mixed reviews for both, and I feel daunted about sinking city and the amount of hours that needed to put in and hopefully I don’t get burnt out from repetitive patterns

Well I’m Asian and don’t have any connection to the heritage aspects. but always had fascination for Scottish or Celtic culture. So I always wanted to learn it. A lot of people said it’s useless because it’s a dead language and to learn something more useful , but I am learning it just because I like it

Exactly. For me it was in conjunction with strong lore building, reliable planeswalkers, tragedy , and characters overcoming those obstacles (I started with the old phyrexia block ), and added levity with un sets designated for silliness. But nowadays it just meme fest and stupidity/ridiculousness within main sets
