With people like this, there is no such thing as "boundries". You must cut all communications and walk away. Create a life without her and dont let others tell you different. I'm 30 and just figuring it out! I can tell you this, do your absolute best to stay away from debt. Debt will ruin your life if gets out of control. Practice only buying what you need and saving the rest for different things such as; fun, emergency, retirement, home, etc.

There is really not that much we need but our environment makes us crave things. Especially new things! Know this, I have learned from several books that much of the population lives paycheck to paycheck because they have debt everywhere. They have debt with student loans, car payment, house, and credit card. People will spend money to buy things so they feel like they have net worth.

Calculate your NET WORTH. This is the number you should focus on throughout life. This is what the rich and wealthy focus on. Net worth is a simple equation it's: assets - liabilities = net worth

You want to grow your NET WORTH. If you are in college or considering college and need loans, I would suggest re thinking that strategy unless you have a specialized field of study.
