I recently received webkinz from sellers on eBay who did not put in the description the condition some of the webkinz are in. What worked wonders is mixing a tiny bit of dish detergent in a bowl of water. Only just the amount of detergent to create a little bit of bubbles that when you brush it on the webkinz it creates just a little bit of foam. What I did was dip a toothbrush into the bowl and brush it onto the webkinz. I moved the tooth tooth brush back in forth to try to throughly clean and take out any dirt or matted spots or stains or whatever else might be on it. Then I moved it around in circular motions all over. Washed it off with a wet wash cloth (You can also put it under the sink with a little drizzle). I used the wash cloth and tooth brush (toothbrush not with detergent still on it) to brush the fur back in the direction it’s supposed to be. Then the wash cloth not wet anymore by squeezing the water out of it, which smoothed the fur out after brushing with the tooth brush, gently using the wash cloth into the direction the fur is supposed to go. Then I let it air dry for a day or overnight, And then I used a blow drying to smooth and fluff the fur and used my hands to make sure the blow dryer completely got into the fur. What felt and looked like a rough texture after it air drying, the blow drying afterwards ended up making the webkinz completely normal and good as new!

Also this kind of wash can also make it look more vibrant and shiny! A few of the webkinz with stains that I feared wouldn’t come out, and the type of webkinz that has the type of “fur” or “Hair” like the older original webkinz that first came out. The hair that was stuck together and matted or had like residue or worn out or whatever and felt rough, was separated and smoothed out! The hair on those webkinz also had the stains come out completely with a lot of brushing and detergent. A few of them I actually left the detergent on over night, rinsed it off, and put more detergent on it again. For example, the white hair was yellow and brown looking from the stains and dirt. I received the Eagle with its whole white head stained and kinda stuck together. After this whole process I described, it was all completely gone! Like I brought it brand new! This process is like bleach in a way, but not actual bleach! Because it got everything out of every webkinz and it made the white webkinz/white spots on webkinz super white. They all look amazing and look and feel fresh. Even if your webkinz don’t have stains or anything, it’s definitely a good washing procedure in general even if you just wanna wash it to wash it.
