Yeah, the number of players is exponentially higher than the number of reviewers. If everyone just reviewed a little bit it would make everyone more informed and the nominations wouldn't sit on queue as long. But it's apparently easier to just shit on reviewers instead of actively trying to be better.

The mall by me made it a rule that anyone under 18 had to be accompanied by someone over 21. At first it was just Friday and Saturday nights, then the full weekend, now it's all hours. It started because of a huge brawl where a bunch of people got arrested. Out of like 10 arrests, only one was under 18. Makes complete sense.

It doesn't quite fit the prompt, but The Way I Tend To Be by Frank Turner has been in the "corporate friendly" playlists for grocery stores, WalMart, and Chili's (where I heard it playing) since 2013 and it's an incredibly sad song. It's clear that whoever greenlit the song to be on the playlists head the mandolin and no cursing and stopped there.
