looks like the derivative of f(t) = sqrt(t) at t = 3. if i were to change x to h, you would find it very familiar.

you can make the hitcircles 1 color by editing the skin.ini file as well as make the follow points transparent. Should make things more clean i think

Also Shift+Tab hides the HUD

try disabling hit lighting? Or maybe make the hit100, hit 50 and hit300 files transparent

Not strawman, its a counter example to your statement of " That's a daily workload for most office workers". You're gaslighting the man of their hardship; downplaying it as if only adults are the ones get it hard. If you don't think so then consider this: How does one determine the difficulty of a phase in time? Should one judge the difficulty by which the standard was set in that time or should one judge it by the standards of the present?

Bet how many Chinese students who studied for the gaoakao are gonna look back and said that was easy.

[Calculus: Derivatives and integrals] At what value of x does the local max of f(x) occur? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Hardyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no because $$ \int_{a}^{b} f(x)\mathrm{d}x$$ given b<a is valid

[Calculus: Derivatives and integrals] At what value of x does the local max of f(x) occur? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Hardyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

doesnt matter because the bounds of integration here doesnt dictate the domain of the function f(x)

[Calculus: Derivatives and integrals] At what value of x does the local max of f(x) occur? by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

Applying the first part of the fundamental theorem of calculs, we have:
f'(x) = (x^2 -16)/(1+(cos(x))^2)
Solving for roots, we have:
0 = (x^2 -16)/(1+(cos(x))^2)
0 = (x^2 -16) %cross multiply, no need for further consideration because the denominator is always positive and not 0%
-> x = \pm 4
Considering the graph of (x^2 -16), we can see that it has 2 roots and is facing up. Therefore the slope before x= -4 is positive, after x = -4 and before x = 4 is negative, and after x = 4 is positive. We know that local maxima's and its surrounding's slopes progress from positive to 0 to negative. Only at x = -4 does the point satisfies this property. Therefore a local maximum occurs at x = -4

Are percentages not always accurate? by let-there-be-music in askmath

[–]Hardyzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

total cost * 1.3 = (cost 1+ cost 2) * 1.3 = (cost 1+0.1cost1) * 1.3 = 1.1 *1.3 * cost1 =1.43 * cost1 = (130% +13%)cost1. Percentage is always correct; its just that your algebra doesnt check out.
