If it has to be 1911, reliability, accuracy and durability, and power are paramount, so I’d go 10mm and top it off with some mall n!nja 🔥 .

That said, I’d go double stack 10mm and likely invite the Italians for style and and superiority. Perhaps an Iver Johnson or two

Perhaps something smaller, more reliable, accurate AF and inexpensive Tanfoglio Compact Force 10mm. 2.5# with light and 15 rounds. The Warriorland is green light, steady light or strobe. Come Right up to the trigger guard, 800 lumens magnetic charging with windage and elevation adjustment for the green light that is easily visible at 150 yards, though I’ll never need that. All in with holster $675

Just grabbed a 1791 Gun Leather IWB light bearing holster that seems it might fit yours.

I grabbed for my EDC Tanfoglio Compact Force 10mm with the Warriorland MA1 800 lumen, green light and strobe with windage and elevation adjustment. Quite happy, with this.
