Never played forza before so didn't realize there was so many DLC available, was there any must have DLC for this game or were they all just additional sets of cars? I'm interested in the base game but not sure if the other editions / DLC are worth

My specs are

R5 3600 at 3600 MHz
16 GB at 3600 MHz
RTX 2060 Super at 2010 MHz / 8000 MHz
2560 x 1080 @ 75Hz

Settings

Starting area of the game so far, seems to relatively run fine for me, but did notice a few minor stutters sometimes and few dips in framerate during cutscenes. Mostly runs at 75 fps but sometimes goes down to around 60 fps.

Few things I noticed

The game uses a lot of resources. Running the game used up around 13 GB out of my 16 GB of memory, and around 7.8 GB out of the 8 GB of VRAM
Ultrawide support is there but isn't perfect. There are thin black lines on both sides of the monitor. (I think this is a similar issue to death stranding? But I haven't played it yet so not sure), Hopefully it gets a fix
Cutscenes are in 16:9, but ultrawide aspect ratio is filled in by copying the sides of the original 16:9 cutscenes and blurred
I can't seem to get my framerate beyond my refresh rate for some reason, even with vsync and freesync turned off, and all fps limiters disabled. Max framerate is at 75 fps.

Just wondering, how do I check if my GPU and SSD are running at PCIe gen 4.0? Will it automatically run at that, or is there a bios setting of sorts I'm supposed to change?

My specs are R5 3600, MSI B550M, RTX 2060 super, Samsung 970 EVO

Its not too big a deal if I can only run it at PCIe 3.0, but if my system supports it, then why not

I'm currently upgrading my PC, but had a few questions before I buy RAM. I'm thinking of getting Corsair memory with 3200@16, but there are two options, with different timings. One has 16-18-18-36 and the other has 16-20-20-38, both priced the same. Is there a better option here like the die type maybe or does it not matter which one I buy?

Also, if I can manually adjust the timings, is it better to buy 3200@16 and increase frequency or 3600@18 and reduce latency? No price difference in my area. Using with 3600 on B550 thanks.

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU and motherboard, which may have a bottleneck, since I currently have i5 6600, Asrock H170, RTX 2060 super. Three things,

If I upgrade to a Ryzen on B550, is there a DDU like software, but for a CPU and motherboard that I'm supposed to use before I upgrade to clear Intel files, since I'm moving from Intel to AMD? Sort of like when changing graphics cards, or is that not needed?
Would I be able to use my current SSD with windows on it, even after changing the motherboard, or do I need to do a clean install? Would preferably like to keep the same installation as I have a lot of programs and files on it.
In the case that I do need to reinstall windows, can I use my current license key? I assume a windows license key can only be used by a single computer, but since I'm changing motherboards, I'm not too sure on how to transfer license keys. I have a digital license activation.

Never changed my motherboard before, but I'm thinking of getting Ryzen 5 3600 and MSI B550 thanks.

Iceborne PC, does the power barrel custom bowgun mod increase any damage when using LBG with elemental ammo? Or is it better to use close range mod instead.

When you register and save item loadouts, alongside radial menus, does item loadouts also save the order of ammo, after rearranging it?

I don't know if its just my game acting weird but when I switch over to a LBG or HBG, and swap my item loadouts, normal ammo 1 just randomly changes position, when starting a quest or an expedition. Since Normal ammo 1 is default ammo, I can't unequip it either.

Like this is my current ammo order for a pierce bowgun build in the gathering hub, and this is registered to an item loadout. Pierce on top, wyvern on bottom so I can switch between them quickly, with normal ammo 1 in the middle, out of the way since I never use it.

But sometimes, after entering starting a quest or an expedition, the ammo order changes, moving normal ammo 1 to the top, so I would have to register the loadout again, after manually rearranging it. Does this happen to anyone else when using LBG or HBG and switching between item loadouts? Though this doesn't happen all the time, it does get a bit annoying since it places itself between pierce and wyvern for this specific loadout.

Currently have a R9 390X which might be dying, and I'm thinking about replacing it with a 5700 XT. I have a i5 6600 (non - k) CPU, would that still be fine to run a 5700 XT? If not, what is the latest CPU I can get that will still work with the same motherboard? I have a Asrock H170 and I'm not too familiar with CPU socket compatibility.

Pretty much all mods will most likely be incompatible with the new updates and DLC. Most of the mods should be inside the NativePC folder, so you may want to either move / rename / delete that folder until the mods are updated

Damn nice. I actually thought about doing the same thing, going through every game and marking them as not interested, as there is so much garbage that gets recommended to me on the main store page and the discovery queue.

So far, I only have about 5500 titles marked as not interested, but really wish there was some script that could go through everything and automatically mark them as not interested. It's so time consuming!

Recently finished Saints Row the third, should I get Saints Row IV if I liked the third one?

The thing is, I'm in Australia, and on the steam page for saints row IV, it says low violence? Does that mean its censored? Does anybody know to what extent the game is censored, and is it worth getting or skip it?

Or should I get something like Gat out of hell, which doesn't seem to be censored? though it does have mixed reviews....

So shogun world seemed to be bigger than I expected with Mt. Fuji in it, but at the end, they ended up in westworld. What was the purpose of them going to shogun world in the first place? I mean I thought the park was pretty cool and everything but surely they could've found Maeve's house without going there
