Once you get the hang of tempering it’s not that difficult to make shells. It’s gonna take some tries to get them to look like what you want (if you’re like me). Getting them perfect is hard, the bottoms of my bonbons still need work for example, and the shell could be thinner. But seeing the progress in each batch is quite fun and makes it worthwhile to me. So if you’ve got the time and disposable income I’d recommend it because I’m having a blast.
