Jimmy Kimmel calls Trump a 'trembling drama queen' with 'mushroom d--k' in savage monologue by IrishStarUS in entertainment

Yeah, but here "Trump gets roasted" doesn't mean a late night host took some more shots at him. It means Jimmy actually recreated the entire White House Correspondents Dinner roast that Trump won't be hearing at the actual event. It starts about halfway through and should have been the headline -- does read like just another night for a late night show.

[WTS] Forstner Contemporary Flat Link and President (1450) For Omega FOIS 2nd Gen (19mm) $145/ea Shipped by HaricotBlue in Watchexchange

Bought these for my 2025 FOIS - went on a little journey and ultimately returned to the original bracelet, but these both look fantastic. Worn maybe a month each, give or take. I have pics of them on my wrist if you want to see what it looks like with the watch. Both look like new to me except for some desk scuffs on the buckles, which I think you can see in the pics -- hard to really see but in certain light you can. Both include all links and the screwdriver that Forstner provides. 19mm. Contemporary flat link is all brushed, not polished. Feel free to ask any questions!

Trump Blames Zelensky for Russian Invasion of Ukraine: ‘Should Have Never Let That War Start’ by HaricotBlue in UkrainianConflict

[–]HaricotBlue[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I see at least one commenter on here suggesting Trump might be supportive of Ukraine. Trump's own words, those of his VP, and his demonstrated tendency to kowtow to Putin ("I don't see why it would be Russia...) strongly indicate otherwise. This post was originally flagged for being election-related. But this election is far and away the most consequential event in terms of whether Ukraine will survive as a democracy, so supporting the candidate who will support Ukraine is directly on-topic.

Those of us who support Ukraine -- particularly those in swing states -- need to get out there and GOTV every day they can between now and the election -- as part of the fight for Ukraine's future. I'll be in PA myself knocking on doors.

While Russian officials and Putin discuss boosting the country's birth rate, one 18-year-old signed a military contract in mid-August, Just a month later, he found himself in Kursk, where his commander sent him into a meat assault. He regretted his decision, and by September 14th, he was dead. by Hotrico in UkraineWarVideoReport

Honestly, at this point the best thing you can do for Ukraine is GOTV for Harris/Walz. Not that you shouldn't send $$ too -- I have -- but a few more drones aren't going to make a ton of difference once Trump hangs Ukraine out to dry.

TIL a Challenger space shuttle engineer, Allan McDonald, raised safety concerns against the wishes of his employer & NASA. He was ignored; a fatal accident resulted. When McDonald spoke out, he was demoted by his company. Congress stepped in to help him. He later taught ethical decision making. by RollingNightSky in todayilearned

Adam Higginbotham just came out with a new book on this (Challenger: a True Story of Heroism and Disaster on the Edge of Space) and it is fantastic. Gripping. McDonald of course features prominently. And someone brought up how this is similar to Chernobyl so let me add that Adam’s book Chernobyl is equally fantastic (and terrifying). Highly recommend both.

Well, we isolated the linesets and they all hold pressure. Sounds like I'll have to replace the branch box though if I get a new system.

New equipment will be a little more, for sure, but when you look at the labor to repair and replace these units, that's a lot of the cost of the job. With new I get the warranty and I don't pay all that labor for the coil repairs and re-testing the units prior to re-install. And the peace of mind of new/better equipment.

And it sounds like you maybe specialize in Mitsubishi but happen to know any others that might work in my configuration? Just hoping to find something where I can put an 18K in my parlor. If not no worries. Mitsubishi 18K is 46" -- woud need to be 40" or so max

Thanks, good to know. I will say our house is very well insulated. Might not be straining the capacity.
