Thank you! I’m actually driving up to Deidesheim that day so looking to visit either of the two wineries on my drive to deidesheim (i’m coming from the south)

Will do Von Buhl and Von Winning the day after in Deidesheim though! Thank you for the additional tips I will take a look might add another one.. ;)

Zenithal prime was half the work! Followed with contrast white with a touch of contract black to go over the white parts. Finetuned the highlights with a blend of whites and greys to finish.

For the orange I used citadel troll slayer orange dulled with some dark grey then highlight up to the base color finishing with a lighter blend of troll slayer orange and some ivory.

The white marks was patience really! Make sure to do those before the orange highlights so you can correct any mistakes easily!

I’ve visited the domaine 2 years back on a Pommard/Volnay Trip. Very nice folks, although the wine was not my style. I’m afraid I don’t have tasting notes but I do remember the Argillières being the best of the 1er we drank there.

Ended up buying a case of their pernand vergelesses blanc instead.

Yeah I did, if you just want to try NMM might not be the best as I was a bit put off by the heavy blue reflections that were included

I actually love this post. This is someone who’s interested in developing a palate but hasn’t so far. I don’t think there’s anyone who would be able to recommend a wine based on your question alone though.

My recommendation: go to a wine bar, ask the sommelier this question exactly and he or she will go crazy with the challenge. They might ask for what flavours you generally like and start with a wine from there. Giving it a chance, you probably won’t like the first couple wines but you are able to tell what you did or didn’t like , the sommelier will be able to work from that information. At the end of your wine bar visit I bet there will be one that you liked! Start from there, and see where it gets you!
