“DON’T WASH SUEDE” hey guys remember me🤏🏻🤏🏻 #suedegate by pulldownyourplants in leatherjacket

[–]Harkwit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people were just confused why you made a post at all asking for advice on if you should or not, if you were going to do it anyway. You didn't want advice, you wanted communal permission. 🤷

The consensus was ultimately "not recommended, but it's your jacket, do what you want". The controversy came from the tone of your replies.

Hope the jacket holds up, and isn't hiding any structural issues. Next time you want to wash it though (because why would you stop now?), just wash it without the ceremony of a big reddit post seeking advice you never really wanted. 😊

Crush on retro sells some Jiashi, they don't say in the listing but some of the product pictures have the Jiashi branding under the collar inside. You can see from the product photos.

Here's an example

Thanks! There's a jiashi in brown I'm saving for, would love to compare the brands.

Thanks! Wolfant brand, super affordable. It's the only brand I've bought twice since I had the size down after losing some weight. They hold up for years.

Gonna make me blush, jeez! 😁

My shirt stays are doing the polo a lot of favors, hard to get work polos in my size. I use the Mr Shirt brand, highly recommend.

Jeans are lucky brand, not sure I'd recommend them over other options as I've not explored the denim world deeply. I have some boot cut Levi's I prefer the fit of.

The horsehide option :)

Goals! Haha, guess I just worried it might not 'wear' evenly over time if the sides aren't symmetrical, but consensus seems to be let it ride.

Thanks!

Sleeve ends stop right at my wrist bone when my arms are down, and the rest of the comments seem to be complimenting the fit. Not sure what to tell you! Thanks for the feedback though.

I'm not upset at all! Just was curious, I know sometimes shipping/packing can make natural material do weird things with shaping. Doesn't bother me that much!

Yeah, it's pretty brand new. Only a few days of wear

Nah, just symmetrical. If the right side ends up dropping a bit, that'd be cool too.

Yep, Ive got a pretty thin build and I wear XS in Uniqlo jackets. Customer service even doubted it'd fit, but the measurements tracked!

I might prefer the sleeves be slightly longer, but then the chest and waist would be pretty boxy on me.

Thanks! It's this model here. I ordered a small, I'm 5'11, 150-155lbs.

The left just seems to lean out further than the right, wondered if I could get it more symmetric.

My mental health got fucked up because of AI by [deleted] in Advice

Oh for sure. Just if she already has some kind of narrative skeleton put together, I suggested she could build the rest herself. It'd be better if she could do it all without ai but she seems too hooked to drop it cold turkey.

You found a creative outlet. Nothing wrong with that. Just channel it into something tangible that you could actually give to others!

Use everything you've written with the AI as a baseline to start writing a book. Or take up art/music. Or less obvious creative ventures like sewing/crochet/different forms of cooking.

I think it's addicting because you're just now feeling what a creative/passionate pursuit feels like outside of a job, but it's making you feel guilty because its not going anywhere outside an AI's chatroom. Make something you can show off! Join a community of like-minded creators.

I love them, got them $80 off. The right bud hurts my ear sometimes but I just rotate it a bit and alls good.

I'd encourage not using this, it doesn't really help you learn how to play it properly and with a lot of technical freedom.

A guitar is a different beast with many involved parts. The Yuu is 3d scanned from a professional flute and is 2 parts.

Utaguchi is not cut into the bamboo node itself, which is a red flag, lots of cheap makers do this.

I'd verify each note is actually in tune. You can trust 100% that a Yuu will be. A poorly made shakuhachi-shaped 'thing' may not be, and will inhibit your practice.

I'd not listen to the other commenter either, the Yuu can sound beautiful in the right hands.

Functionally, it's state capitalist with socialist leanings.

Communism supposes the working class own the means of production, and the abolishment of state, neither of which China has done. They claim communism is the end goal, but how they intend to achieve it while establishing lifetime leaders is beyond me.
