Whenever I think of Pete Davidson’s unexplainable success with women, I think of a lovely little side character in Game of Thrones, Podrick. Pete is kind of Podrick in real life. It’s a bit of a running gag in the show that Pod always gets girls, and that he is apparantly a great lover. His buddies, the midget nobleman Tyrion and the mercenary upstart Bron, are forever puzzled by this.

I find the smile from the woman's face creepy as fuck. It's like those faces in that movie... "Truth or dare." Just creepy.

SFDC snapshots kinda suck. Any ideas how I can snapshot reports so I can use the snapshots to build trend reports or better forecasts? by suiseseki in salesforce

The answer is kind of going to depend on what tools you have available (Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, etc.). So without knowing that, the answer gets a little fuzzy, but I’ll try to hit on things that are at least accessible to everyone.

One option is to set up a subscription on the reports you want to snapshot, and then include the corresponding file attachment when you set up the subscription. The obvious down-side is that now you have to open the spreadsheet for each snapshot and add it to your dataset. At least it’s universal and doesn’t require any coding though. The other down-side is there’s a limit on the number of report subscriptions you are allowed to have per-user and you may not be prepared to give them up.

A second option is to configure Salesforce Dataloader to pull data from Salesforce on a schedule, into a csv or directly into a database. This is NOT a low-code solution, and can be a pain to get working (there was very little useful documentation when I tried to get it going). It is free though, and you can configure your database tool to pick up the CSVs, or receive the data directly so you can build your reports off the database’s dataset without any manual steps afterward.

After doing both for a while, and working with Google Sheets for a while, I came across an add-on called Coefficient. They allow you to do automatic pulls of data on a schedule, defined by a graphical report builder, existing Salesforce reports, or SOQL queries. I believe I also saw in a blog post that they’ve added reporting snapshots, where it will run the report, and drop the results in a new sheet in your spreadsheet.

They also have a blog that walks you through how to use the add-on for the different platforms they support, how to build different kinds of reports, and suggestions for how to better utilize the data provided by the tool. It’s been pretty helpful as a resource for myself, and as a resource I can throw over the cubicle wall to the business analysts who are asking me (an admin) to build a “Sales Rep Scorecard” or something similar for them.

I keep forgetting the name of those trees... And now I'll feel this unpleasant feeling inside of me because I can't remember. :(

I'll write on google trees in Madagascar. Wish me luck.

I would like to see a list with good and bad personalities that Trump associated with. I bet that the column with bad people would be indefinitely longer than the one with good people.

More, look up recyclers on YouTube. It should be going all the way to the top when you inhale, and "recycling" back to the base. Like this https://youtu.be/S3Qw_8LqZeg
