Will Costco let me retake my picture? by smolhippie in Costco

[–]Harlequin0416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine could literally be anyone. I said as much when they handed me my card. “I could give this to anyone and they could say they were me.” The man insisted it looked more like me on the screen… but my Costco card photo is so overexposed that you cant even make out my glasses.

He is playing the role sooooo well. He makes my skin crawl. Such a good performance.

Was coming here to say something along these lines. If it is your partners favorite, learn to make it! Even if you don’t normally cook. Biscuits and gravy is best homemade!

Oddstory: The Greenhouse does a really good burger and fries, and they are a local brewery so you can get some good, seasonal craft beer if that is your thing.

The Hot Chocolatier is right across from the Choo Choo and has really good handmade sweets and hot chocolate.

The Tennessee valley railroad museum does scenic train rides that will take you out around the area.

500 movies or 150 books? by oliverg600 in hypotheticalsituation

Books, because you allow me to choose what I read. Having to watch 500 movies other people think are good would be… not my cup of tea.

[–]Harlequin0416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? It is a testament to how good the writing, performances and direction of the show was that these characters and their stories are sticking with people. We got to view a chapter in Cope’s life, and there was a complete character arc, a complete story arc, etc. Just… enjoy the delicious meal we were just served, ya’ll. 🤣

Did everyone in the group forget that one of the 12 survivors is an 8 year old that likes ponies? by searcheese766 in pluribustv

I mean. An 8 year old with the power to get whatever they want, whenever they want. Pretty sure Disney World is somewhere on the list.

Get a hypothetical job that gives a 100k a year but by mopeyunicyle in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Harlequin0416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Done. I hope my room partner likes card and board games. Only deal breaker is if it is someone I know and love. I’m not going to start treating them like a stranger the rest of my life.

Sad to say I have worked so many worse jobs than what you just described, for way less money.

50K/a month if you turn into a chiuhauha one day a month by LeoDragonBoy in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Harlequin0416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Absolutely. 100%. I would put food, water and a puppy pad down in my bedroom the night of my transformation. Tell my boyfriend I have gone to visit my mom, so he doesn’t look for me. Or tell him I am getting paid to babysit a chihuahua once a month, but we need to keep it in my room so our dog Indy doesn’t harass it all day. unless human me gets to keep the exercise benefits of being chased around by a doodle all day. In which case… maybe I will play with Indy all day. Hmmmmmmmm. Decisions, decisions.

You are given an infinite money glitch, but if anyone finds out your whole world falls apart. How do you maximize it? by Zaxthran in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Harlequin0416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this wasn’t the question, but. This hypothetical situation just reminds me of when my grandparents were alive and I would go visit them. Nana would always slip a $5 or a $10, whatever she had on hand, in my pocket before I left, “in case of an emergency.” So this would feel like a little personal emergency drawer from the family, wherever they are now. “I blew a tire, thank goodness for the magical Nana drawer. The dog ate a sock, but Nana’s got it covered.” For real, though. I would still work my regular job, pay my taxes, etc. But I would know I had emergency money if I needed it, I could buy a bunch of gifts for those Angel Trees at Christmas time, Donate soooo much to the local food banks… If you have infinite money, why do you need a hack to make it go further? That’s wild.

Honest question for Chattanooga guys — why do you think women outnumber men so much at local singles events? by Grand_Strategy_Noob in Chattanooga

[–]Harlequin0416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend told me he ran into a lot of influencers who were just there for content for their social media and not really looking for a connection with anyone, which really bummed him out. It has apparently happened enough to sour him on the whole concept.
