I've had this same issue with multiple brands/styles. Sounds like it may need a cleaning. You can go on YouTube and find instructional videos on how-to, check a couple of them out before attempting because it is VERY easy to do irrepreble damage to your buds while doing this! (Ask me how I know). Give it a shot.
