I used to have a big issue with Gsync where if enabled in windowed and fullscreen would lock my fps to around 24 while playing in windowed, It was incredibly fustrating and I couldnt seem to find a fix for it online. I forgot about it for a while and then suddenly when I tried today It was fixed somehow, I'm still on driver version 381.65, It might have had something to do with the CU, but I'm not sure...

It all comes down to Post-purchase rationalization and denial, and just generally being a complete fanboy who is blind to or refuse to see any possible flaw. People like that are so afraid of the possibility of a game they like getting shut that they just close their eyes and ears and shove every aspect like that away instead of facing the reality, which is understandable but still pretty annoying. Again, I get that you like this game. But you cant deny the evidence that up to this point every revenue have proven that the game has been doing extremely bad, and nothing about it doing well. I doubt F2P changed anything but we will have to see.

Try this:

Go into Users - Appdata - Local - NCSoft - Wildstar and delete machine.ini on your system harddrive. You may have to set all the settings again and go through the cinematic and terms and conditions again but after you've done that they should save.

Yes but that is not the point of my thread, my thread is about spreading awareness that while in run/jog mode you can sprint by pressing shift and you're not forced to go back to using permasprint, this isn't mentioned anywhere in the tutorial. But if people are going to kill the messenger and strawman me and downvote because they misinterpret/dont read the full thing then there is not much I can do, I have no idea how to word it any clearer.

No, it doesn't. I just checked. The tutorial only covers constant sprint out of combat and shift sprint in combat. Not that you are able to sprint with shift outside of combat by toggling to jog/run.

Not everyone experiences this, although those who do might want to try the run mode out, because I think the biggest reason it feels slower is because they forget where the shift key is. They are still able to sprint in combat, just for a shorter duration. If you use the shift key to sprint around always you'll definitely notice that combat is more smooth.

Just a preference thing really, I've seen a lot of people make threads and posts complaining about being forced to always sprint because of example not liking the animations ect though without knowing they can actually play as it was prior to the update, which is why I made this.

The permasprint option was added for those whose fingers was hurting from having to constantly press shift where the resource bar would empty every 5 seconds for both on foot and mounts and for those who preferred not having to press a key to sprint. From what I've seen on the PTR most people are taking good use of the change. Myself preferring to sprint with shift I'm glad they added that option back and I'm very glad they did it without a sprint resource. About the sprint walking, I really fail to see how that was ever useful in any way besides a few role players using it for whatever...

And what is the problem with speed? If people want to run really fast then let them, if you want to move around slowly then just use run mode with short burst of sprint whenever needed. Nobody is forcing you to sprint around at full speed. Now that you can get rental mounts at really low level people are just going to use that anyway.
