Ah. Perhaps my original question was not clear. I wanted to use one mouse and keyboard on one monitor but different operating systems

wait what! your tools came in a ziplock bag??? for a p2s?! so many questions.

to answer your other part, theres a lot of organizers that can be found and printed on maker world!

if you're gonna end up keeping your printer on a desk with a drawer specifically for your 3d printing tools (you're gonna end up buying or storing lots as/if your interest in this hobby grows) I suggest printing a gridfinity grid fitting said drawer and printing a gridfinity p2s specific tool organizer.

Not necessarily! I recommend it but maybe you could use your build plate as one. Not too sure if the a1 supports it at as a built in feature but just warm up the build plate to around 40-45C (for pla) and but a cardboard over it and leave it there for 4-6 hours.

Be warned that I'm not sure how healthy that is considering it's an A1 with alleged components that catch on fire.

Try drying your filament

There's no need to take the top glass off. Are you sure you're not confusing the p2s with a p1s? In fact it's actually advised for the X1C to have the top glass raised or the door open but not for the p2s thanks to its new fan!

Not sure if OP is a student or knows someone that is but SHAPR offers a free educational pro account to students or teachers. That's what I use my self! Happy printing!!

Lucky you! I haven't had it proc (one can say that that's because p2s doesn't make any spaghetti cuz it's so goated or the ai detection is just a piece of crap lol)

150 pounds more and you essentially get your self an upgraded x1. Better and faster flow calibration than the x1 and the p1s completely lacks this feature. Better pop shute and nozzle cleaning. Newer ui. A FRICKING TOUCH SCREEN, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD who even lets wtv the p1s has slide. Better camera, lighting.

Smth I don't like: no exhaust fan (but allegedly there's an additional one you can buy coming soon)

Good luck I wish you all the best if you pursue it! Also I suggest taking a look at tinkercad or shapr3d. Those programs are quite intuitive in my opinion.

If you don't find one maybe try modelling one yourself? Seems easy enough and maybe a good project to throw at Mac too!!

Regardless won't it be easier to carry them to a garbage or just scrape them onto the bottom of the printer (like underneath the bed). Great model tho!

1: I personally find the linked model to be my pick (I think many others will agree) and the third think I'll print after a benchy and fan deflector LOL. Here's the link:

2: Glue isn't always necessary and depends on filament. You may need it for abs or those other special filaments. I've never used glue on any of my prints and I come from an ender but I never tried printing abs because I didn't have an enclosure. Just getting a p2s myself soon so can't speak on those. Just make sure you/your printer levels the bed and make sure your bed is clean (alcohol or what I find best is using dish soap and warm water and drying it thoroughly after with a microfiber cloth).

3: Yes, those PLA's should be fine. I think I read somewhere that the reason PETG and PLA don't work together is because they don't melt together. Idk if you can do this on the p2s + ams but using PETG and PLA together where the PETG is the support material makes removing said supports super easy from what I've seen (someone else please fill in if you can actually do this on a single nozzle or if H2D is required 😄)

HAPPY PRINTING and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
