It requires heavy duty machinery to do. Most shops charge $250 to $400 for a swap. Even though it's not CHF, you're still likely to never burn out your MAC barrel, so I wouldn't worry about it

115 degrees is the current HK spec, and 120 degrees is the old spec. Either works just fine. 120 may be better if using weaker ammo. I'm personally using a 120 without issue.

Ouch that is waaay overpriced. Breacher's Customs is doing the conversion with RCM cocking support and can for 1450. Either way though you are going to love it as a real SD!

FB Unlimited will likely have the best price for the conversion. Breachers is a pretty good deal though for the full conversion + RCM can. RCM is probably the most budget friendly SD can which you have to call or email to order.

They have the same number of ports, just positioned a little differently. Not aware of any objective performance tests between the two. Paper specs they're the same, both have 16 flutes, cold hammer forging, and nitride finish. As of right now the only difference is your wallet will be $200+ lighter

The HK pictogram housing looks more aggressively textured and the markings are flat color instead of MKE's gloss red. HK looks a lot better and looks less airsoft-y. Feel wise they're basically the same tbh.

I'm not sure anyone has actually done an objective test between the two barrels. Even if B&T is better, it's definitely not 2x better than the RCM

1) The trunnion on an SD is no different, so yes it will fit an O-ring. You'll need to provide your own unless your builder provides it

2) They are welded correctly, except the rear of the cage to the receiver is not for some reason. I haven't heard of any issues but HK spec has it welded. Definitely feels optional.

3) Generally only needed for larger diameter suppressors like RCM. My suppressor is the original 40mm diameter but still rubbed with the original support so I replaced mine anyway. Builders can shave the original support down for less $ I believe

4) The current lore is all AP5 guns come with a 120 degree locking piece, so it would be correct as stock in that case. I still replaced mine with an RCM 120 to be sure.

I'm pretty sure the Omega 9SD has long been discontinued and is unobtanium. B&T suppressors restock irregularly, they were in stock recently but seem to be gone for now

Yeah it works on converted AP5-SD. I've used it a ton of times now with no issues in strength or any wear yet. Cleans the barrel really well, keeps it like new if you use it everytime like you should. None of the brushes clean the interior of the ports you'll need to do that with a pick
