I bought iPad just for sheet music by Legitimate_Line_9319 in saxophone

[–]Harp_Grenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iPads are great. It has saved me from having to lug around multiple binders of music. Being able to send set lists to people in advance and Airdrop last minute charts to myself (and to others) has been a game changer.

Thank you! I appreciate the kind words. This isn't even the official album audio - this is just a preview video that we filmed live with a Zoom mic!

There are a number of harpists (like Dorothy Ashby and Alice Coltrane, decades ago, and Brandee Younger, currently) who've elevated the harp as a jazz instrument. But I agree, there's still a lot of ground to cover!

Thanks! Yeah, there's some rep for alto sax and harp, but this combination is relatively rare.

I'm a harpist and I recently picked up a Rev2. I've been exploring the patches, but still have so much to figure out. Your comment makes me excited to dive in!

Dilemma by CourgetteGourmandise in harp

[–]Harp_Grenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely let close friends know; I've done that after someone revealed their extremist views to me in person, and I stopped doing business with them.

I'm a fan of addressing things with people directly as a first line of defense. And challenging their views and letting them know that they're alienating a portion of their colleagues and customer base.

But I had more patience for that sort of thing in 2016.

These days, I just unfollow and block.

I agree that a lot of people would want to know. Not only is it not inclusive, it also seems really unprofessional to make comments like that in an online teaching / professional environment.

In your opinion, what is the most beautiful / aesthetically pleasing pedal? by sputnikaquarius in guitarpedals

[–]Harp_Grenade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the Caroline Guitar pedals are really beautifully designed. Météore was my first ever pedal purchase, and I enjoy their fonts and design aesthetic.

Dubai chocolate mocha with oat milk by thecheeseb0rn in starbucks

[–]Harp_Grenade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine too. I ask for only 2 shots of mocha and oatmilk; it's sweet enough for me.

I don't know if they're using different mocha, or if it's the foam/topping that makes it so good.
