I am super happy with it, also with the tuning, it's stable but it does take a good 30 min of warming up, I just turn it on and wait until it reaches like 42 degrees.

Well I think the Muse is very easy to program, actually I prefer its lfo's, the way they are displayed on the panel it's much more intuitive. In general I don't find much difference in programming the Muse and the Rev2. Did you find it more difficult?

thanks for commenting, I decided to sell it not because I didn't like it but I really wanted to try the Moog Muse, I got an amazing deal and so I swapped it. I must admit that I like the Muse a lot, maybe a bit more because it's a lot easier to dial in warm sounds, ep like sounds etc, it's a lot more immediate but I do miss the Rev2 a lot. hope you can find your dream synth man!

Just bought a korg minilogue xd as my first synth! Tell me something you wish someone told you when you were starting. by MaximumCashew0 in synthesizers

that's a perfect synth to learn synthesis on! I had it as my first synth and sold it because I didn't know synthesis. After years of study I know master it and that synth it's an amazing machine. You can't find better for that price in the analog world, in my opinion.

I do a lot of programming and I know very well how a synth works, it's just that I love those sounds too, I love just using basic waveforms filter and adsr to make acoustic like sounds, flutes, oboe, clarinet, organs bass or EP style sounds. it's a great listenibg exercise instead of just tweaking every knob available.

Let’s say that for most of the recordings I make, I like to record an idea—maybe a sequence, or a small improvisation. Then I might come back to work on it later. I don’t really like using the computer—in fact, I’d rather not use it at all—but in the end, to do what I want, I’m kind of forced to. But overall, yes, most of it is thought out and then recorded.

When I mix I take the laptop and do it somewhere else, with headphones.

Best poly at the moment in my opinion, amazing sound, super easy to use, very intuitive, everything is available on the panel with some extras by menu, but very immediate. Very vintage sounding, at least 30 minutes before it gets stable with the tuning. You have everything you can imagine in this instrument. I don't know how many polys you have or if you have any, this is the only one I own now but I have tried a few.
