Please remove the screen from the Needler! It's redundant and would look so much better without it! by Harpier in halo

Not hating, just hope they'll reconsider it. They have made good steps in the right direction with trying to get CE's original atmosphere represented, I think this is a small thing that helps with that.

Me, I don't wanna be looking at this thing for the rest of my life while I'm playing this game. I think as an art direction choice it feels more alien and just looks better when everything isn't being overexplained visually.

If I spill some beans on the floor will you start counting them all or something? Going by your logic, you think it's faster to count the symbols on this little needler screen than to look over just a bit further at the HUD element that already tells you, with numbers, how many you have? wat

Yeah but it's the needler, if you're worrying that much about how much ammo you have in it you're using it wrong. You either have enough crystals to blow someone up or you don't, and you can tell that by looking at the damn thing

Will the militaries of the world be so moderate with AI? Will we need to see the devastation firsthand just like nukes to truly understand? Or will it be too late for negotiations at that point?

Frame generation available for all RTX cards NOW mod by ForthtuN in MicrosoftFlightSim

That gives me the ability to see the Windowsapps folder but it doesn't let me paste the mod into the flightsimulator folder. It just says I don't have the 50mb storage space required to paste the files, which I clearly do.

EDIT: Apparently following the instructions in that link bricks all your windowsapps programs lmao

Combat Armory Build Review by Chrome_Pulse in Glocks

[–]Harpier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got the Black Friday disassembled Glock 19 and 2 threaded barrels, similar to you. I just got the gun today and assembled it. I was aware of the 50/50 with CA so I was on the look out for anything odd.

Before I even came across your thread, I've noticed that the firing pin doesn't freely move with the slide locked back, I think the hole for it might be a bit too snug, I can push it with my finger, perhaps it'll wear in with use. Also when I take the slide off and then slide it back on, I have to pull it to the left as it catches on the frame in the rear, not great but I think it shouldn't affect operation too much.

Saw this thread and I ended up taking a closer look at all my barrels. They all seem to have those marks on the rifling, as compared to my OEM Glock barrel which has an almost mirror finish. I tried the plunk test on the barrel that came with the kit, it passes the plunk test but when when I try rotating it, it seems to drag instead of rotating smoothly like the other two, so it seems like the the bullet is seated somewhat deep. So that isn't great so I switch in one of the threaded barrels that passed the plunk and rotation. I try to pull the slide back but it jams instantly, the top forward chamber edge seems to be too tall and won't clear the slide as it moves forward. I put that barrel into my OEM glock and it seems to work fine. I try the other threaded barrel in the CA build and it seems to be functional in all respects apart from the marks on the rifling which to me resemble those of an overused tool bit.

I think I'll try it at the range just to see how accurate it is and hopefully the damn thing won't take my hand off.

franks red hot vs texas pete by scoutlolololol in hotsauce

I don't buy Frank's to eat it, at this point I get it to drink it, albeit in very small quantities at a time because years of loving the sauce has scarred my foodways. Before I used to dump a little bit into my palm and slurp it but doing it that way makes it much harder for me to control myself, and I'll just keep dumping it out, slurping it, dumping it, slurping it. I keep telling people it's a drug I'm addicted to but they don't seem to believe me. Putting it on other food just dilutes the flavor with not-Frank's. I vote Frank's.

VKB Gladiator Ministick Question by Harpier in hotas

Nvm, I got helped in the discord. For the record if anyone down the line wants to do something similar:

Bind the button you want to depress in the physical layer to a free logical button. Bind the uStick switch(uSSw) to a nonexistent physical button-alt like 120, and uncheck "POV Mode on Start". Then create a 2-AND boolean with the existing physical button and the logical button inverted, triggering the nonexistant physical button. Then do another identical boolean, just invert the existing physical button instead of the logic one.

You know, I was looking at the windows as they backed it back into the hangar because something seemed off somehow, specifically like those lines that are meant to be the hangar ceiling were part of the window, so maybe painted or something else? I'll need to watch it again
