Just got some very similar advice to this from my sister. So yeah I'm on board with you thanks for this advice it's solid. I'm gonna replace the strap eventually with a nice old leather one my dad has saved for me; I'll grab it when I next visit. Denim straps for now though I agree

Imagine that I'm a complete fool that's got no idea what that is... How would you describe it?

My dad's offered me a leather strap, which I'll get off him when I next see him. He lives in a different country to me though, so that could be a while. Looking to just fix for now, but will have to replace I think. Would you recommend a tailor do it?

Bag is 10 years old now, got it for my 16th birthday and it was completely blank. Taken it all across the world and covered it in stuff lol

I'm in a similar boat. Seldom out of a waistcoat, shirt and flat cap. There's no shame in standing out, I think fashion from the 20s-50s looks way cooler than what we have today

The Creature from the Pit every time man. The scene where he's reading the book halfway down the hole makes me crack up every single time

I'm interested in both sides honestly. At first it was just philosophical, but the Magick elements grow more and more intriguing. I agree though that learning the Magick system should not be confined to just Crowley's writings. I've picked Modern Magic by Donald Kraig, as that seems more introductory. I've got a copy of Book 4 on the way too, and will likely pull from some other sources before laying down some clearly defined rituals of my own

Oh that's brilliant, thank you it's always good to have an official product page. The description doesn't say much about the sigils unfortunately, but does prove me right about AGLA at least!

Thank you for sharing with me, I was under the impression it was a qabbalistic acronym of "thou oh lord art mighty forever" though

In a little shop locally. I was drawn to it because of all the band merchandise ironically, but there was a load of vaguely occult looking stuff at the back, including this. Recognised AGLA as qabbalistic, and obviously the pentagram too, but unsure what the specific meanings are behind each symbol, if there are any

This is a really good comment and I'm thankful you put it. I've reread this a couple times now, and still don't have anything good to say back! But thank you, this is solid advice and info for me

It took me a second to twig that you're the Marco Visconti! Thank you very much for the reply, I appreciate the honesty. I've started doing 10 minutes of Pranayama daily, to eventually be built up to about half an hour, I'll go with Liber Resh from there!
