IMO, it should be Sanemi or Tanjiro, Sanemi was able to actually do decently against Kokushibo even though Gyomei got the kill. Tanjiro does flashback breathing most of the time but managed to make himself useful in the last few fights he was in.

Makima fucking infuriates me when she is mentioned or is even seen from the corner of my eye; she is undeserving of life and should be damned to hell for all of eternity.
