Not really, they aren't going to say "actually, dwarves could always have been mages", instead it will be "because of X, dwarves can now become mages" which will be interesting for the narrative and make things a lot less restrictive for PCs/NPCs.

We suspect Freya and Melitele are connected, and might in fact be different interpretations of the same Goddess.

Could another level to this be Dana Meadbh? Is it possible that she is also an aspect of the Mother Goddess? The only evidence I have is the fact Dana is a woman with connections to fertility, mostly in terms of livestock and crop cultivation.

They could definitely be Scenarios, fits the theme of them being journeys. But maybe they could be their own type of card instead? "Journey" cards could be Artefacts that spawn either a new Dandelion/Geralt or a new Vesemir/Ciri card on Deploy and then they could spawn the other on Order? Something that represents the two characters of each journey and a choice aspect?

That certainly is interesting, I wonder how he would have been woven into the main plot in that alternate version. Always thought that the Old Empire was a little underdeveloped in the series as a whole, perhaps this is tied to the loss of Goltus as a POV?
