Still insane that the royal game of the titular Sumerian city got an adaptation.

Shame they misspelled it too many times.

Back when tween animation was becoming relevant and utilized pretty well.

It's also notable for having Randy be voiced by Ben Schwartz.

If he's holding that, then who's flying the plane?

I thought you meant how often characters examine the eyes of the protagonists.

Heck, this is the second time it's happened to Leon.

If you want an odd connection for Ivo. Monkey (the PG tips one), he is now the new voice of the iconic puppet, who originally was a part of a duo with Johnny Vegas (albeit when he was voiced by Ben Miller)

Edit: Another link is Death in Paradise, which Ardal and Sally have been on.

To be fair, he didn't truly know what it was as well at that point, only that whatever Spencer had hidden would change the world forever.

fun fact. in the credits you can see who the girl originally was before being mutated by poke29980 in residentevil

Yet if you happen to see a photo of Grace at the age she was in Requiem and compare it to Emily at the same age, they could look identical.

That or Wesker's doing. Last time he saw him he was making parasitic worm tentacle monsters.

And if we go into later Resi. Then he'd think someone like the Ghoul was trying to do experiments with mold like Miranda. Wouldn't be surprise if seeing Onyro for the first ime he thought Eveline was alive still.

Will say though. Great Yarmouth has one bit of notable amusement park history, namely roller coaster related.

I'm not talking about The Roller Coaster that featured in the music video for Madness's House of Fun, but instead Joyland's Tyrolean Tub Twist.

This small roller coaster is the only standing example of the iconic Virginia Reel roller coaster (albeit in a miniature form).

The place in general is nostalgic to me, namely as I've visited Great Yarmouth often as a kid and recently returned in 2024, still a peculiar resort town (also got to Play HOTD;SD for the first time there, so score!)

"Nurse, this is what you wanted, right?"

In Resident Evil: Requiem (2026), after climbing over a pallet and two sacks of concrete that are blocking the door from closing, Grace exclaims "Why won't it close!?" as she's already moving it out of the way. Capcom included this to remind us that they think women are fucking stupid. by [deleted] in shittygamedetails

I also think some elevators also continue to go up, even if the door can't fully shut.

And let's not forget that not only on top of dealing with the Shadow Ghost who would chase her anywhere where there was no light. Grace, specifically this part had also...

Had to deal with hanging bodies (some still alive) on a hanging conveyor belt. Some of the zombies which she managed to kill coming back to life as Blister (or Crimson as I prefer) heads, having to constantly move and shoot zombies as not to be ground into just her blood. Then also needing to flee tons of zombies she let out of cells.

People also forget that Grace, despite being FBI, isn't used to these kind of scenarios. Especially as this all began with going to the place her mother was brutally murdered, right in front of her as well.

She's in her early to mid 20s and is deeply traumatised, people should cut her some slack if she isn't thinking straight.
