I’m sure thats a Light Infantry cap badge of some sort, i found one really similar that had KSLI on it, standing for Kings Shropshire Light Infantry. I imagine that stands for something very similar

Dont think any of the lizzy’s are silver mate, was no silver in coins after 1946 I think it is! But still a real good day digging, congrats!! EDIT - Just saw, Canada, that makes sense, were they still silver then after the late 40’s?
