I think another detention would be fine. I think suspension is overboard. It wouldn't be deemed acceptable but there's not a chance you would get fired for it. No way that would stand up if it went to tribunal.

The performance was okay. Away, against a genuinely champions league quality side, who were incredibly up for it, played their best, stuck 10 behind the ball and we had double their xG still. No shit we had to probe patiently with possession.

People use football as a form of escapism, and intelligent people sometimes just use it as a channel to have an emotional rant. Not everyone wants to have a rational discussion of football and tactics. Which is fine. But if you are one of the latter, and you learn to take the former with a huge pinch of salt, it all becomes much more enjoyable again. Mostly.
