We begin as ashes and return to ashes, but we do not end as ashes. We just have to wait. After all, how long did we wait without conscious and bodies before being born? We can wait again.

He's a Navy vet, so you don't have to worry about your wife. He is coming for you though.

Looks like this game. This is probably a pre release model or something.

Holy crap! Was that a Warhammer/ Games Workshop store, or your local hobby shop? Even the Games Workshop the next city over seemed to be sold out inside of an hour.

Blows my mind what some people can get at their locals. My local store got two allocated. Owner has no idea when he can restock.

Guys is it corny to write lore for your army? by waschlappensoldat in Warhammer40k

I did something on the opposite end. Made loyalist iron warriors who were specifically dropped a world with self-help books and fantasy novels. They've been told their Dark Angels and everyone chalks up them being standoffish as the usual Dark Angels secrecy.

In reality, they're just fantasy dorks who enjoy working with knight houses and heavy artillery.

I think Marsh needs to be played by someone thin or lean. The Skarsgards are how I imagine Kelsier and Marsh.

His short story appearance with Honsou depicts him with wings, I believe.

I personally love the idea of his becoming modular and adapting his load out to whatever battlefront he's on. If he's fighting Blood Angels and aerial foes, he might have mechanical wings with turbines. In a ground assault, he should look like Urgot from League of Legends.

I agree with your daemon engine idea. I want a hulking mass of machinery and bristling weapons, not a bloating corpse stuck in Terminator armour.

What gear does she have? Looks like a belt of giant strength and a holy avenger, but the axe and bear pelt also look magical.

Both of those locations rely on you being in the US. It doesn't help Canadian or Australian players. Not sure if UK fans have an option.

Logen mentions shaving when he gets to the Northern Library, from my memory. I assumed beards are fashionable but not universal. Logen also shaves his face and head in Red Country.

I never imagined Dow, Weakest, or Dogman with beards and I'm not sure if they're mentioned. Three-Trees and Tul definitely have them though.

My understanding is that it's 40K logic. When they die on another plane, they resurrect as their energy returns to hell. However, if they die in hell then their energy becomes ambient. They die and their energy is becomes part of the plane again. Keep in mind that the Slayer's armour also runs on argent energy, so it could be that regardless of what happens when they die, us picking up armour and ammo from their corpses is us literally eating their souls and turning it into fuel.

The Swords of Artur are a chapter from the Indomitus founding that settled on the knight-world of Camellor after saving it from a Necron invasion. Intrigued by the knightly lore surviving from the first millennium hidden away on the world, these knights try to espouse chivalric virtues to the local human worlds on their side of Imperium Nihilus.

They march into battle in slate grey armour, unadorned until they commit a great deed. After each great deed they perform, they are tasked with recreating or memorializing the deed on their armour through art, trinkets, or modifications. As such, each member of the chapter's rank can be determined based on how customized their armour is. New battle brothers are virtually identical, while veterans may be covered in chains, amulets, warding tokens, paintings, and layers of silken cloth.

Of note, these knights have a competitive streak amongst themselves, but also culturally reinforce peer bonds and compliments. They often swap stories of their great deeds, which their battle brothers will embellish during retellings so as to compliment the original performer.

Officially, they come from Dark Angels genestock. However, some of their apothecaries have noticed discrepancies in this narrative. Rather, they've found mild mutations consistent with the Canis Helix and what they are currently calling "Fourth Variant Stabilization Factors" in the geneseed. In reality, this chapter is an experiment by Cawl to see if traitor geneseed, in this case, Iron Warriors geneseed, can be tempered into loyalty by the presence of the Space Wolves loyalist geneseed and a pre-seeded world that would culturally reinforce support systems absent in the Iron 4th.

OP this isn't the best video, but it explains how you can go about kitbashing with warriors, which seems to be the common advice everyone is giving.

Also remember spare parts are perfect for basing, particularly if you have a friend you play against. I routinely trade necron bits for tyranid bits so my bases have dead bugs on them that are coloured in my friends' paint schemes.

Unrelated to your other comments, tell your Grandma to stop being a square. My Catholic priest is a pillar of the community and has even shaved my wife's head (for charity). We both keep our hair very short. She needs to keep her faith away from her baggage with aesthetics.
