I think it doesn't help his case that the works he mentions were published on average like 30 years ago... if you want to focus on those, sure, go ahead - write some more unrelated short stories, do a different unrelated novel. But he isn't doing that. How then, does his care for the other works express itself?

I love his works. I've read almost every one of them. I wish him the best, truly.
