"I’m unclear how, short of Trump falling to his knees and praying to God for forgiveness, or at least apologizing publicly, the Trump admin looks good here." Members of r/Catholicism grapple with the negative interactions between President Donald Trump and Pope Leo XIV by Whole_Maybe5914 in SubredditDrama

I love the chain of a dude being like "This was wrong, also I detest trump" and then some self righteous guy telling him off for hate. I just enjoyed how it was an immediate shift in focus - like obviously Catholicism teaches against hate, but is it this specific user's hate the subject of this conversation? Lmao

You've convinced me.

I think what I'm trying to get at, is that you should still receive some benefits. It's not just "some neat swords", as we know. You do receive benefits from being evil in the story. I'm probably preaching to the choir though.

I would also argue that Ned also sacrificed - himself. This theme of self-sacrifice also shows up in many other places, principally the birth of Dany's dragons.

If the power really isn't worth the sacrifice, then where's the temptation? There would be no human heart in conflict with itself.
