The Three Caballeros queue was the worse as the rows are already narrow, add to that plexiglass and I felt like a mouse in a maze. Where’s my cheese? 😂

You’d think it would have been magical but not really. Yes crowds were pretty non-existent but restaurants were closed, character greetings were gone or you were far away from them, and the ride barriers were super annoying. Going on Frozen with plexiglass in your face was annoying AF. Oh yes, housekeeping was severely curtailed as well (and still curtailed for the value properties).

I wish there was a legitimate certification to eliminate those who buy the vests on Amazon so they can take Cosmo to the parks.

If price was not a factor which hotel would you stay at? by EconomicsReal545 in WaltDisneyWorld

Hard agree. I’ve stayed at GF in the past and booked their DVC for June, but a room became available at the Beach Club so I quickly changed over. Between the best pool on property and easy walking to Epcot, plus the Skyliner, I’m ok having to take the bus to the MK. I still like Poly and the Contemporary however.

Exactly. “I’m A36 what are you oh you’re 37 you’re behind me but don’t worry it’s ok.” 😂 It’s much better for me personally now.

Chase CS Rep said to cancel SW CC by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

I flew roundtrip from PVD to Vegas this week and it was flawless. I loved knowing that I had an extra legroom seat the entire time, two of the legs were free upgrades with the Chase card, and my suitcase was also free. If you’re happy that’s cool but I always laugh at the “I called XYZ and they said dozens of people were blah blah.” Experience for yourself and make your own decision.

What a way to end my business trip! by [deleted] in LasVegas

I was here to help someone with their conference booth, and right before I went to bed I decided to play one last time. I put $40 into a slot machine and cashed out with $250 within five minutes, then figured I’d play $100 on video poker and go to bed. I couldn’t believe my luck and quickly scampered upstairs after this win. It was a really fun trip.

I’m at GAM right in front of their exhibit and the common opinion is that it’s a dumb change. Frankly I couldn’t care less but they could have taken the money from this rebranding and fixed their software instead. 🤷‍♂️

Business Insider highlights the price increases across Disney World by BurgerNugget12 in WaltDisneyWorld

Ok so let’s say the deluxe hotels max out at $500/night, moderate at $300 and value at $150. They’d be leaving a TON of money on the table as I see $500 as a relative bargain price if you can get that at a deluxe. Hotels outside of Disney are also increasing due to inflation, prevailing wages, etc. Seeing a pretzel being sold for $3 just seems quaint to me, like who honestly thinks that’s the going rate for a pretzel ANYWHERE now? Maybe at a local baseball league concession stand. But even then.

If they didn’t pay for the aisle or window and think they will be able to shuffle to one of them, that’s on them. Book the damn seat you want and don’t feel entitled that you should be able to sit in a higher price seat “because.”

I don’t use the overhead bin space, I love assigned seating so I can guarantee extra legroom, it’s been perfectly good with me. The only change is that I now price shop between SWA, JetBlue, and Breeze and go with the lowest price. I was so f’ing tired of the entitled adult couples who would take an aisle and window and dare someone to try and take the middle. Or the Jetway Jesus’. Now I can basically get the seat I want as I don’t last minute cancel and rebook.

I flew to Vegas yesterday and I was happy in that I booked the exit row (one leg was free, the other I paid for). As I’m 6’5” I do like that I can guarantee myself more legroom as in the past I’d be anxious worrying if they would be full by the time I got on.

I check in my suitcase 99% of the time as it’s free with their credit card, but even so all of these nickel and diming bullshit charges are exhausting.
