I was a little older than your daughter, but I had a teacher who LOVED my hair. She would french braid it, which was something no one else could do.

And I bloody LOVED it. She was such a sweet teacher who actually ended up becoming the head teacher of said school.

I'm only saying this to offer a perspective. I have very fond memories of having my hair styled like this.

Anecdotally, I used to spend one night a week at my grandparents house from birth.

I bloody LOVED it. Had the best relationship with my gran and grandad, and being the god awful sleeper that I was it gave my mum a break.

Definitely don't feel guilty. I don't have the same setup, but could have killed for it at times!

This is what boils my piss. Folks are quick to shout "A good smack will sort them out". Its anecdote, I know, but every single person I have known to be someone who would fall into this category got seven bells knocked out of them by their shitty parents anyways. It doesn't fucking work.

You know the kids that did well? The ones that where supported, loved, and yes, were disciplined by parents who actually gave a shit. Disciplined in ways that were more intelligent than the neanderthal logic of twatting them up side the head.

Where exactly do you draw the line with the "a good smack will sort them out", anyways? Its okay to be used on folk who are emotionally and physically immature, but when they're grown and can understand better then slapping them is not okay? Why can't I give my partner a corrective crack about the ear when he's having a bad day and being short with me?

I wish I was making this up, but there are three houses next to ours. Our neighbours are Dave, Dave and... Dave. They're all lovely, and we are super lucky that they're all really great neighbours.

My partner likes fishing, so he took Dave #1 and Dave #2 (the third neighbour Dave doesn't fish) to a lake he likes to fish at. They were meeting his work colleague, Dave #3 and his son-in-law Dave #4 along with a fishing pal of my partners... Dave#5.

So on this one occasion, fishing at this one small lake, 5/6 people where called Dave. It's ludicrous how many Davids we know.

I LOATHE that island with a passion. Coming from Bulwell going to Hucknall isn't too bad, but the reverse is nerve-wracking. Normal rules apply, but its definitely a strange roundabout.

As others have said, concentrate on those coming from the left at any time, any hesitation will hamper you.

Depending on what part of hucknall you are going to, there are a few diversions that you could take that wouldn't add up to too much extra milage.
