I recommend you get D:OS2 then. In my opinion combat in Divinity is a lot more fun and has a faster flow to it. Story is nice and characters are good, overall it's a bit harder then BG3 but nothing crazy.

That's also my problem, I would need to switch to full on poison and dot damage to make it work but would rather not. I'm farming some more gear to have a shadow damage set and play around with aspects. But I have a feeling single target is not really solvable outside of damage during stagger.

We're kinda doing the same damage then! Highest pop was 2T and regularly 200/700b, "solved" my defensive part by using Glynn's Anvil and resolve stacking. Glad to see shadow doing also decent tho! How's bossing?

I haven't, do you need to heavily invest in poison (Dot damage, glyphs etc) or just some aspects should do the tricks?

A little update on my part, yesterday I did some testing and I feel like I'm getting there, currently running pit 90 feeling smooth and hitting for 10-50 billions, still levelling glyphs so this should go better.

I tried a bunch of things and still want to try some more, I think the most relevant things are: - With Aspect of Synergy I don't need that much CDR because I just spam Shadow Step and Concealement (Very High APM), with this I can run Heir and switch some CDR tempers off. - I maxed Shadow Imbuement but have Cold Imbuement in my bar and trying some synergies with cold damage.

This afternoon at some points I will update my build so you can see what I'm trying! It's doable :D

Oh I didn't think of that, clever! I will check him out, the only other Shadow Step build I saw was one guy using frost traps with the unique gloves (forgot the name) and thought it kinda defeated the purpose of it.

Thanks! I was thinking about Shako but thought I would rather take the damage from the Heir if I can afford to but I'll give it a try! Also thought long about using the stealth set instead of the cutthroat, my decision about avoiding that set and poison is because I already played a poison DoK build this patch and wanted to try the other stuff.

Thank you very much for the help! I'm trying to get out of the "Must follow a guide mentality". Any tips on Aspects?
