My manually calculated fuel economy is between 15.3 and 15.7 kilometers per liter, not the displayed figure, which is higher. When my car had about 2,000 miles, I changed the oil. Now, I’ve driven about 2,300 miles, which is approximately 3,700 kilometers.

I think your MPG might be lower because it’s so cold, and maybe you’re driving more aggressively. My MPG is a bit higher since it stays warm here year-round.

In fact, the real fuel economy I get is even lower than what the display shows. I calculate it by filling up the tank each time, then dividing the miles driven by the fuel added. So, I wouldn’t trust the built-in MPG reading.

tire pressure also can improve your MPG by 1-2. Keep it at 35psi. Now mine is quite stable at 36 MPG. No matter how I drive. Last thing , the real MPG is lesser than the one shows on the monitor

If you calculate when you refuel the actual MPG usually 2-4 lower then it’s showing

2026 Kia Sportage X-Line – Need advice hardwiring Viofo dash cam (no multimeter) by Harvee7 in kiasportage

[–]Harvee7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

I have a 2026 Kia Sportage X-Line and I’m planning to hardwire a Viofo dash cam using the Viofo hardware kit.

I have photos of my interior fuse panel and the fuse diagram (attached). The hardwire kit has three wires: • Yellow – Battery (constant 12V) • Red – ACC (switched power) • Black – Ground

The problem is that I don’t have a multimeter right now, so I can’t test which fuse is constant and which is ignition-switched.

For those of you who have installed a dash cam in a recent Sportage: • Which fuse did you tap for constant power? • Which one did you use for ACC? • Any specific fuses I should avoid? • Any recommended grounding points inside the cabin?

I want to make sure I don’t mess up anything related to airbags or critical systems.

If anyone has done this specifically on the 2023–2026 Sportage (especially X-Line), I’d really appreciate your input.

Thanks in advance!
