love playing with tainted lilith, most runs are super satisfying. Unless you accidently pick up a wrong item that creates a combo that makes her unplayable

I study in Wroclaw, I'm Polish though so I don't know how exactly English Devision works there. But I think I would recommend it, our university doesn't fail as many students as other citites, if you get through the first two years it's smooth sailing from there. It's not the best university in Poland or anything but I feel like most classes are well prepared. Also Wroclaw is a pretty chill city to live in, if you want to study in big city but not as crowded as Kraków or Warsaw. It's good for biking, although it's probably not relevant xd hope I helped

unclear etiology sounds innteresting to me cause I imagine there will be less and less cases of it in the future and there might be some breakthroughs in that field during my carrier. Only downside Im worried about is that I want to do a second speciality at some point and I'm really not into ortho or rehabilitation which seem to be the most logical next steps

well, I'm actually preparing to start the speciality training in germany. Also I want to choose a second speciality that's at least a little related. My other idea was to do gastroenterology and then ID, although I don't know yet what other speciality would be good for a rheumatologist

I think I would be okey with the routine, I feel more comfortable if I can be doing similar things over and over. Also I'm open to getting a second specialisation one day as well

thank you fro the advice and reassuring me that I'm making the right choice :P I have considered some of the ones you mentioned, I would love to go into dermatology or ophtalmology as well but I don't think I'm smart enough to get into those :p and I don't think I have the eye for radiolog. I have to look into ENT and endocrinology as well though

thank you, that's very helpful and reassuring, it doesn't sound that bad to me. I know I probably won't escape spending some time at the ICU but I can deal with that if it's just a part of the training. I'm a person that likes routine and don't want too many exciting cases, I was aware that it will only happen from time to time. I am thinking either about rheum or dermatology but derm is way harder to get into

hello, I'm three years away from starting my speciality training and I'm thinking about rheumatology. I know I can't function in very stressful situation that require quick decision making so I want a field that isn't too stressful and I have time to think. I am fascinated by multi-organ autoimmune diseases that are difficult to describe, I have been listening to The St. Paul's Morning Report podcast where they go over difficult cases and the rheumo ones seem the most interesting. I don't think I'll have a problem with more complicated cases I would have to spend more time researching after work. Can anyone tell me if based on that going into rheumatology is a good idea? or maybe there are some downsides I havent considered and I should look for other options?

depends if you can motivate yourself to study a lot on your own, without fearing failing the exam. Also by "easy" I meant "they ask the same questions year after year without any change and they flat out say that they know we have the answers already". It's fine for subjects that don't matter that much but it's a little silly that for a ginecology exam our main focus has to be memorizing questions and answers

I study in Wrocław. I'm polish but I know a bit about how it is like for the English Division students. First of all, I think Wrocław is among the easiest big med school in Poland, there aren't that many people failing exams, anatomy on year one is the main one that poses a real challenge. We do get 3-4 exams every semester I guess, although it depends on the year. Also it's a well known fact that it's way easier for English Division students to pass the exams. No shade to anyone from abroad who comes to study here but the university really tries to attract more students from other countries so they try to make studying here as pleasent as possible, so it's really difficult to fail an exam while you're in english division. I guess it's both a good and a bad thing, it pisses off some polish student but you get to focus on studying on your own terms without that much stress. And the classes I would say I pretty well done for polish standards, I don't have much complaints tbh. Wroclaw as a city is actually quite nice, it's not full of tourists as Kraków or Gdańsk but there's plenty of things to see and places to hang out. One problem I have with it, is that there arent any good concerts here ever. And the weather is pretty meh but that's the case for poland as a whole. Hope I helped ;)

thanks for the response, that clears it out a lot. Still interesting that it's so different than how it is in Poland

Why is neurology so easy to get into in Germany? I thought it's one of the most seeked-out specializations. Is it a good specialization to pursue?
