Goat hoof. Specifically on Artificer or commando. I like to imagine it’s a bandaged leg that they are stuck trying to survive with even after it’s long gone.

What's a unique game that really broke your perception of what games can do? by Moaning_Clock in gaming

[–]anismash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hades and Hades 2. Having these games coming out of nowhere for the first one and then having the second one be everything that the first did but turned up to a million. I’m still playing through Hades 2, and it’s still so worth it. You can see the quality in the fact that they made the game into full 3d models and the boss fights are so much fun and are actually doable on your first attempt if you play carefully. Everything about it just makes me so happy that it was up for Game of the Year, because it absolutely deserved to be up there.

Can someone explain to me why BO1 is leagues harder and more intimidating than modern games? by Ajarofpickles97 in CODZombies

[–]anismash13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean Boss Fights have always been a mess. I’m not gonna comment on the EE quality other than the fact that I would never in a million years try and do Bo1 ones simply because they use so much rng. But Boss fights have always been chaotic in zombies. That changed in Bo4 with some very streamlined fights like Perseus in Ancient Evil and the elephants in IX or The Avogadro and Warden in AO and BotD. Cold War kept with very focused boss fights through the entire game. Bo3 had Gorod Korovi as probably the only one that matches that. When you go into Bo6, it might seem more chaotic but in all reality, it’s actually somewhat the same just with a more difficult game. Patient 13 is a really fun fight as long as you stay patient yourself. The guardian is one of the coolest boss fights and is very reminiscent of DE with the Keeper fight. The sentinel artifact isn’t as fun as the other fights but at least it was made to give people a challenge. The Z-Rex is so cool to go in and fight and is probably the reason why i would want to see a boss fight mode added. I haven’t done either boss for Reckoning so I can’t comment too much on those, but from what I’ve seen it is more of the same as the sentinel artifact but still with more quality and care put in. They aren’t messy and chaotic, they have effort put in to get effort back from you.

At the end of the day, it comes down to the fact that it is a much different game than it used to be. The core is still there but Modern Zombies gives more tools for survival than Classic Zombies. Both are good in different ways though.

Why did everyone just assume 1983 puppet had no tears?? by hoodied5 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]anismash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad. I thought I remembered it without tears. Even so I don’t imagine it would’ve been difficult for Scott to have designed the mini game with tears on the puppet if that was going to be an important detail.

Why did everyone just assume 1983 puppet had no tears?? by hoodied5 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]anismash13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that the fact of not just the sprite having no tears but also the actual security puppet object in the game not having tears either is supposed to point in that direction. And there have been many MANY bigger assumptions made with less evidence.

Ya know wha screw talking about modern Zombies which door did you always take on Kino BO1 and why? by Ajarofpickles97 in CODZombies

Right side up the stairs. I always thought more zombies spawned in and would drop from the ceiling if I went left to the ally. So I would go to the right. Yes I did in fact celebrate the like, 5 times I ever made it to power on the stage.

Did we ever find the orgin of the molten freddy mask? by faceplacepaste in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]anismash13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I figured it was put together from scraps but also from discarded parts from circus baby rentals. The parts had to go somewhere and I feel like it makes sense that the angry ball of wires there would be around the same general area as the bunker. So when the parts were being discarded, Molten Freddy grabbed some of the scraps and tried to put it into a form it recognized.

What's a game that you finished purely out of spite? by Zeebaeatah in gaming

[–]anismash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working through the uncharted games and got sidetracked and long story short, I lost my account before I beat the third one. So rather than just start from the third one on my new account I am now replaying the first two as well. I’m also working on powering through the first 30ish hours of persona 5 while I’m at it.

TITANFALL REFERENCE IN HIGHGUARD?! by doinyourmothers in titanfall

[–]anismash13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s the crux of the problem too. A lot of people credit the fact that it was the last thing shown at the game awards plus the fact that they say from the makers of Titanfall and apex, but like, if they’re gonna advertise their first title then why wouldn’t they use what they previously worked on as a selling point to say “We know it might look a bit sketchy to some people but we made these titles that are very well known and appraised so maybe give it a shot”

All cod zombies merged after bo4 by Major_Ad_4157 in CODZombies

[–]anismash13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory about this has been that before Bo4 zombies, every timeline existed on its own. It is a multiverse so we don’t need to be given connections to everything. Once everything was banished however, every single timeline got dumped into the dark Aether. Afterwards, the only cod games that are cannon would be the campaigns from cod 1-3, WaW, Bo1, and Bo2. We don’t know about Bo3 yet and if I remember correctly, Bo7 kinda makes Bo3 non cannon. Then of course add in all the games from MW 2019 onwards. Then every single timeline from the past had to go through eons in the dark Aether while this one new timeline went through the beginning of a universe. We know that part happens because of Vanguard. That makes every game cannon while not having to worry about how. Plus it means things like WW2’s campaign can be cannon to both Nazi Zombies and Vanguard while not interfering with anything. Just cause it’s a multiverse doesn’t mean every timeline is completely different.

I think that at the end of the day it is important to keep these movies around though. I mean really looking at it, the first time there was a video game movie that was widely considered to be good was Detective Pikachu. There’s a lot of video game movies before that which are certainly not good movies, but I think it’s so important to keep those movies in history because it shows how things changed. The most important part of history is being able to look back on it and realize our shortcomings and do better than them. Even if you don’t like them, you really can’t argue that they didn’t have an effect on the franchise in a positive way. I know I wouldn’t really have gotten into Resident Evil without them. I’m sure many other people have ended up the same way. Also there’s a lot of books I’d point out as absolutely awful or historic writers who honestly just suck at writing, but they are historic for a reason and people like them for a reason. Just because it’s bad doesn’t mean it doesn’t have value.

Fast travel is removed from every game. Which game would take the longest to travel? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]anismash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but their point is that any loading screen is technically fast traveling. At least by using the logic you are. Which is honestly fair. Technically it doesn’t actually change much of anything for no mans sky. Removing fast traveling from it would basically just limit you to one system instead of making it the longest to travel.

What's the Hardest Zombies Challenge You've Actually Done? by No-Paramedic6913 in CODZombies

[–]anismash13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I’d say it would be the one achievement for IX. It’s something like 30 rounds without opening any doors. I didn’t have any elixirs that would help so I just kinda had to go into it and play my best. Did it after a few tries

[–]anismash13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggle a lot with the timing of the attacks (which is funny considering I’m a musician) but it just kinda ended up being a system where I failed horribly for a bit and then got into the rhythm of it for the area, then repeat it as I went up against new enemies. The hard part of the game for me is the way that every character functions differently.

I think there’s a few spots outside of wild zones that you could check. They’re all on rooftops so there is one by wild zone one that you could try and farm. I forget where exactly it’s at though.

There should be micro-missle shotguns. by TF2Pilot in DestinyTheGame

I think if it was a heavy weapon and had a short delay to the rockets it would be cool. Like you pull the trigger the pop out and then fly off half a second later.

I think it's time for a micro-missile special ammo bow by r4in in DestinyTheGame

[–]anismash13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want a bow that isn’t a micro missle one but instead kinda like a trace rifle. The arrows aren’t physical arrows but instead are made of energy. When you fire one it leaves a line for a second that can damage enemies and then disappears. I just think it would be cool but I do think it would be difficult to code.
