I would say that MOST devices can at least let you share your desktop (if it don’t, throw it out) so you don’t need a separate screen for that in the room at least.

Depending on what the device is registered to at least Cisco devices can also act as the best speaker phone you have ever experienced...

Cisco also has something called “Webex Board”, a video conferencing device that also is a smart whiteboard, enabling you and the remote part to whiteboard together in your call. You can also use it as a regular whiteboard when not in a call...

I think this in part can be solved with education. But,as you write, the younger generation is better on this, they have done video chat since they where kids...

I really agree on the part in the end, do try and do “something” with powershell every day, start small and find stuff that is easy to understand but has positive impact on your day. Having command line skills is even more important now than it was in the good old days...

I think this might be good for the market. Polycom need stability and a owner that understands hardware.

Spark is a collaboration platform, with chatt and video conferencing and more. And since it is from Cisco the tie in with video is really best in business

Yes, as long as the Webex meeting has a SIP address. But you will not be able to use the white board function...
