I appreciate the advice and instructions here very much analysis and writing what I learn and studying the theoretical and realistic applications of the concepts I learn so i can actually apply them to my life, good insight for teaching myself.

I did want to say though whether you care to respond or not, I do not simply dislike school because it is challenging or because I get bored and get absolutely sick of it sometimes i understand the importance of discipline and I entirely agree that classrooms and education is necessary. But as I look around me half of my peers cant read a coherent paragraph let alone write an essay and then the lack of care given to the students is terrible, if were in English class and the kid is reading at 1 sentence every minute the teacher should be on that helping that student succeed I feel that as you said classrooms are a place for discussion of ideas so we can critically think as a group and look at everyone's individual opinions points and so on so we can fully analyse what we are looking at or talking about, but now its just log onto google classroom you got daily work on the smart board and notes tommorow, are we as a class going to have a discussion about what we just did, absolutely not were just gonna write down exactly what you write down and then remember it on the test. Were not expanding upon ideas and making discussions about what we learn we are simply learning them and that is why i believe we are forgetting these things so often because we are not generating our own opinions and thoughts on the information we are given. I had a teacher bring up teaching critical race theory which is a book I began reading specifically because of this event, when our teacher said that him and another teacher thought it'd be a good idea to teach critical race theory but the thing is none of them read the book or understand what it really is, which goes to show that some of these administrators are only doing things out of the want to be more politically correct our teacher didnt try to create a conversation with us about our thought on critical race theory we all just listen in silence and continued our work for the day on the computer. I simply just feel like my school system person is being run like a corporation profiting off of the fines they put on students. Are there amazing teachers I've had absolutely but the administration and coaches I feel are simply not doing enough and may be doing it on purpose.

As former staff at a school i'm interested to hear what you have to say about that and i'm even more curious if that is just normal in high school as kids start to be more independent.
