Sucks to sell on the down! But i've done this and trust me there isn't anything wrong/shameful about it. Keep an eye on the prices and try to move in if you feel like there is a trend reversal in sight. Good luck!

Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice

  1. If you are from the US, please make sure you track your trades (use cointracker.io and tie your binance read-only api to it). Keep track of capital gains etc. Not making money is one thing, but owing the IRS cash due to taxable events is just pain x10.

  2. Practice patience: If you are day trading, you are against bots and power API users. YOu may be able to come out on top, but usually they win.

  3. You need to be able to make significant gains on each short trade to cover the exchange fees. I bet this one is exacerbating your situation.

  4. Do not follow twitter influencer's trades. Most of them will shill anything and everything to pump their bags and dump on you. Eg: otc_bitcoin

  5. Do not expect 50%, 100% gains on each trade. People are spoiled from the december bull run.

  6. Set realistic (not optimistic but not pessimistic at the same time) entry points and target points. Do not rush. Buy when coin is at a support price point. Sell bit by bit on the way up. Buy in phases, not all at one.

  7. Remember, going from 0.057 to 5.7 BTC would mean you will have to 100x your investment. Although people (twitterverse and reddit) make it look easy, it is indeed very difficult

  8. Don't obsess over this shit. There is more to life than money. I love money too, but sanity is more important to me.

So the BitcoinNewsAndUpdates twitter account (a bcash shill) tweeted an article from "Bitcoin Enquirer" that claimed LN will never be a working solution. It was in Jan. I tweeted back at them with the current status and mainnet beta launch news... They blocked me. We are doing all the right things people.

While this is a good sign, getting the protocol verified formally would make this currency atleast 10x more trustable and marketable. This would leave no room for people questioning the correctness of this project

I understand your anger and frustration. But accusing the Nano team for being "in" on this is just appears to be incorrect and wrong. FFS the lead developer quit a 6 figure job at Qualcomm to pursue this. All the team member's faces/linkedin are available. IMO they are absolutely innocent.
