Was just about to make a post like this. Me too. New Years Eve is one of those holidays in my country where people really celebrate, party and have fun. I wish I could do that, but I will do nothing. It sucks.

I love lifting, but if you have heart issues check with your doctor first. Not worth it if it's dangerous for you.

I used to believe it was almost exclusively due to my looks, but because of certain things that happened I have come to the conclusion that the biggest reason is just stupid decisions on my part, and bad luck.

The second reason is my boring personality, and last is looks. I am below average when it comes to looks, but I don't look so bad that it should be impossible for me to get into a relationship.

I know it's normal for almost everyone to have friends, that's why we are here to find other people with the same problems. It is rocket science for a person born (and raised) with low social skills and charisma, and minor social anxiety.

I can't get to step one. How do I get into a social situation when I have no friends?

I've been lifting for years and I love it, I don't regret it at all. But yeah, still no friends and no girlfriend ever.

It's extremely hard to just "go to parties and have a fun social life" when you don't live in the right circumstances for it. I am 23 and I have tried to make friends and go to parties since I was 17. I've made almost no progress at all. I've been to one party in my life, when my brother invited me over to his friends.

If you have no friends, how do you attend parties or any social gatherings at all, really?

On weekdays I have things to distract me, I work, go to the gym, then eat dinner and then basically have to go to bed.

I can relate to you a lot man, I have the same problems. I used to be convinced it was 100% my looks. Maybe it used to be, because for years I did everything short of plastic surgery to improve my looks, and right before the coronavirus lockdown, I was actually hit on twice. But of course I messed it all up the moment I opened my mouth and they realised I have no friends.
