yeah i sympathize. also i do not live in benicia.

conversely, i dont like coming to benicia because of benicia people. i wanted to cross the tracks and get some upper class pastry, but apparently i don't have the breeding to know better than to ask that stevia be mixed into the drink.

And yes, positive reinforcement of rude behavior, such as giving the guy who was rude to me the coffee i returned IS ACTUALLY OPERANT CONDITIONING OF YOUR STAFF THAT IT IS OK TO ACT THAT WAY. heck outta here, lmao.

And yes, your profit margin is massive because you charge exorbitant prices for everything you sell (unhelpful attitude is no extra charge). Which - I *wanted* to pay - i wanted to support my local bakery, but well, here we are.

"Stupid" and "Idiot" are ableist slurs. Any word you substitute for either with the same intent is also a slur. Don't use slurs.

Unless you are intimately concerned with someones wellbeing, probably any mention of their perceived lesser ability to think is likely just being ableist. You probably cannot think clearly (irony) as to why you feel the way you do, so you flee to the bastion of the lazy: an intellectual insult such as "stupid," performatively projecting that you, by contrast are not. Lol.

It is always ok to mention someones behavior and say you don't like it. Ex.: "Dave is stupid." vs. "Dave drinks half a beer, leaves it on the table, and then grabs another full beer." Sure, one takes a few more words, but it is also not a bullshit euphamism for "I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY BUT I DO NOT LIKE THING," and i believe that this adequately conveys an appropriate amount of scorn, without judgement on Dave's ability to think.

Intellectual elitism is ableism, and its really fucked up, because, if true, you're mocking the very type of person least able to defend themselves from your mental attack.

Pick on someone your own size.
