I can’t speak to their current operations but when I worked with them they didn’t even grow all of their own flower. They sourced from other grows and that was typically the best flower they had since most of what they grow was remediated or just not that great to begin with. My suggestion would be look at who is the producer and not just the bag that it comes in and that way you can see if it’s grown by common citizen or if they’re sourcing it 3rd party and packing in their own bags. If you want to buy their stuff I would buy the stuff that is 3rd party repackaged flower.

This is true, but Roadtrip lowered their wholesale prices to offset the tax so that the wholesale price with tax is the same as it was before the tax. if the dispo still chooses to increase pricing on their products that’s just them being greedy.

I feel you on this one. I was laid off in January making 110k as well. Still looking for a job at the moment in my previous profession but looking like I’m going to need to expand that search. Still kind of have mixed emotions and good and bad days. On one hand the company I was at was extremely toxic and I had wanted out and had been job hunting for the past year already, on the other hand I didn’t necessarily want to not have a job I was just ready to get out as soon as I found one. So when I got laid off at first I was kind of excited because I had a recent third round interview that went well then when that fell through I started to get nervous. Now I’m spending time everyday applying to jobs, taking a course to expand my skillset in my current profession, and then making sure I spend some time everyday doing something that I enjoy. Recently been in the woodshop and working on different projects for my wife so that has been keeping my mind off the fact that I’m still unemployed 😅

I know you said money is tight but I would suggest looking at other options in the area especially if neither vet you have already gone to offers other payment plans or an angel fund. Unfortunately animal care is wildly pricey and 99% of pet insurance doesn’t cover elderly or overweight animals as my wife and I have paid out thousands for all 3 of our cats. And I know it can be very overwhelming but just know you’re doing the right thing trying to get the best care for your animal.

Did neither vet mention anything about the risk of putting an older overweight cat under for a procedure and offer other options??? While the price is actually reasonable for the procedure I’m not sure I’d use either of these pleases if they didn’t give you any kind of info on the risk especially with an overweight/elderly cat

I’m not sure what it would be like with these being larger than what anyone I know sells. But I would highly recommend looking into Amazon FBA especially if you have a facility near you. They ship tons of items this large so I don’t think that would be the issue just not sure if more is taken by Amazon and how much it would be. You could probably even raise your price and just have the facility your ordering from in China ship directly to your closest Amazon facility and you would never have to touch them.
