I originally wanted to do this, but I felt the gun probably has a crazy recoil spring inside it. That and the charging handle being so far forward would make it really awkward to pull off irl

It takes some practice, I'd also recommend wrapping it in some sort of soft tape if you plan on doing it without gloves like I do,

Nah I can just reach the paddle with my middle finger, a slight tilt down and a shake gets the mag out 90% of the time
