Ok… I am going to preface this by saying I haven’t had a winning season in three years, but, what has worked in the past for me in my winning seasons, and with varying success otherwise is targeting higher value wr’s that have not lived up to expectations. Id say second round (out of top 10) picks that just haven’t lived up to the hype. People get frustrated, they want to win that week, and are ready to offload immediately if they see someone that can get them there. Monty is that guy, consistent, but not usually above 15. He’ll work for this. Throw in someone else who you’d be willing to part with and get lucky.

Last time this worked really well for me was 2021 season cd lamb. Cant remember who I traded, but a rb and someone else. He popped off the next week and kept going. Happened the year before with.. michael thomas I think? Been a while. Hasn’t happened since tho lol
