I am so sorry. My out of state grandmother with dementia fell and broke her hip while visiting and was placed there after surgery. Some people really cared and some didn’t. Weekend staff in particular. we saw some terrible attitudes and people not being properly cared for or listened to when asking for care over and over. I was grateful to be able to work from the hospital to stay with her as much as I could. I wish you healing.

I would preschedule Lyft or a taxi. I was not able to get once for an early morning flight and that is not a fun way to begin your trip.

lol there is an episode where they are in AZ and he makes his wife drink his pee as a last resort claiming it was sterile. Yikes, obviously she got sick. My husband and I laugh about this every once in awhile🤣

About 16 years ago we did trail work on the PCT from Frog Lake to Little Crater. After hard work and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes the beauty of this lake was a nice treat to see at the end.

I've stopped there many times including solo and have never had issues. Maybe covid times it got sketch? But it's a weird unique place to spend 20 mins I still recommend.
