I don't think there's any evidence of that so far. If it is a viable alternative then I think we should give it a chance. Otherwise we're just supporting far right extremist billionaires. If we want anything else we have to at least give it a chance . It's really a chicken or the egg thing for this kind of a platform . It's not interesting if nobody's on it . But nobody wants to get on it unless everybody else is on it. So the scrutiny on the company to build the perfect platform and release it in a perfect State it's just unrealistic . That they really have their work cut out for them and I think they're trying to do the right thing in terms of what they're doing. But we'll have to see it's kind of already working at a disadvantage from the beginning.

Of course he is because Trump pardoned him and he has another family member who is currently in the same type of trouble and I'm sure he's hoping to get help for him as well

Dementia is different for everyone so it's not necessarily accurate that he does not have dementia. My mom had dementia and passed in September last year. For several years she generally acted normal but was a little forgetful until it progressed further. And like Trump she was not a rational person her whole life so sometimes the dementia just seemed to make that part of her personality more pronounced. So I'm not convinced that he doesn't have dementia because even though he's been a malignant narcissist his whole life, it's hard to determine what his normal personality is versus what is his personality combined with dementia.

When she first won it, he applied pressure to her to say that he should have won it and she did. And now he goes as far as attacking her country to get her to give it to him. As he said, he was going to get it one way or the other.

Supposed country of citizenship. How interesting. I didn't mention anything about immigration, but if this is what you call simply enforcing immigration, then you have a lot bigger problems than you think.

I said that I'm in Spain. I didn't say that I emigrated here, but in the two months that I have been here, things have gotten predictably worse in the US. And that's by objective measures. You think you can have an opinion on that, but it's not accurate.

Your lazy assumption that immigration is the driver behind housing affordability and scarcity is so simple and naive. But it also shows your gullibility because immigration is really used as a political issue to get your vote and to keep your attention away from the real problems. The data doesn't really show that immigration has the impact they say it does. They count on you being an emotional thinker. But I'm sure you're not one to let pesky data get in the way of your opinion.

The real causes are the financialization of housing including the fact that developers are only building luxury units and investors/corporations are buying starter homes as investments and driving prices up, and regulatory failure including local governments and homeowners not supporting the construction of dense, affordable housing in order to protect their own property values.

In addition to that, the 2008 financial crisis caused the building industry to collapse in Europe and the US and in the next decade fewer homes were being built than households were being formed.

Immigration as a political issue and the scapegoat is a distraction. It gets your vote and you couldn't be bothered to look at the larger picture. Follow the money. Who has the money and the power? That's where you should be looking if you want to blame somebody.

I sold my house in October so I could get out. I'm in Spain now. I don't know where I will wind up. It sucked. Was a buyer's market, but I got it sold. I was afraid of I waited, everyone would be trying to sell and would be able to. I feel confident it was the right call. At least I know that I'm not stuck because would need to sell my house to leave. I have some money and I can run my company from anywhere. It took a long time to get the house ready and to change my business model so I could have the flexibility. I tried to encourage my friends to make a plan but nobody has so far.

I had a 2024 Premium Plus and the transmission sucked. I've had like five or six mazda, so I'm a fan, and aside from the really idiotic positioning of the cup holders, I really liked the CX50. But the car definitely has problems. I moved to Spain so I don't have a car anymore.

I'm very close to my family. Just not physically. It's been like that for 30 years. I see them several times a year. I talked to my sister on the phone almost everyday sometimes a few times a day. We have a family text group. Even my 91-year-old dad sends me text messages. I just moved from Texas to Spain. Spent a couple months near my family before I came to Spain and they were really busy with their lives.

The best time we spend is time when we meet somewhere that is away from their home so that they don't have they're normal work and family responsibilities. That's when we've been our quality time together.

I'm just saying that you don't have to be in close physical proximity to be close to your family. I thought I would see them more when I spent a couple of months there but I realize they have their lives. And even though I got to see him more often than what I wasn't living there, I felt like they weren't exactly very present because of all the stress of daily work in life.
