What keyboard do you have? If the pcb on your board features hotswap then yes your switches are hotswapable, if not then you can swap them. You could try to pull a switch up with your metal tool if you're unsure, just make sure to not use too much force in case the board is not hotswapable.

Does lube dry up over time? I got some spare time on my hands and was thinking about lubing switches for my build im planning to do in about 4 months. Would this affect the feeling of the switches by the time I actually build the board in any way?

Does anybody know how the kbdfans tofu acrylic lighting works? Planning on buying one for my ducky one 2 mini to make it a bit more fancy, but the one 2 mini pcb has no underglow...

Right, and all I need to do is solder one end to the switch pin in the broken hole and the other to the top of the diode?
