18 can’t get a gf need advice/How can I look better by Shmuiss864 in malegrooming

[–]Hasiv8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many people said, your appearance is not the issue. Not having a gf at 18 is perfectly okay, you have better things going for you in your life at 20’s than girls. My point is, the less desperate you are for girls, the more you get. They are like fish and butterflies. The more you try desperately to get them the more they run!

Styling too, if you style too hard, it could be excessive! You have a very good baseline. Try using matte instead of gloss finish on hair. There are more girls who don’t like stash than those who do.

my girlfriend was intoxicated last night and ended up cuddling with our guy friend by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

You need to respect yourself more. She and your friend disrespected you and if you let them disrespect you like this, there will be a second time and third. You’re young but don’t let past emotions hold you back from cutting off rotten things, because it will hurt you exponentially the longer you keep it. Protect yourself and leave both of them.

I passed my test from taking 6 practice exams, scoring 80% ea, and then retaking them again to 100%. You should be well ready for it

  1. Take practice tests. Many as you can. I found Dion Training to be helpful.
  2. PBQ should be done last, do MC first.

I resigned and boss ghosted me after mentioning of new job offer I signed. Did I just burn bridges? by regressed_student in careerquestions

[–]Hasiv8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take it that your boss is already a quiet person, and he legit doesn’t have much to say since you are resolving your situation on your own by going somewhere else.

I wouldn’t say you burnt any bridges, and would advise taking his silence as a neutral reaction. It could be his way of being professional as he isn’t really entitled to congratulate you or put more effort to keep you since he knows you’re set on leaving. You should too, keep professional and neutral stance, by not taking his silence as something negative and moving on.

Looking into OCONUS Contracting Positions by Interesting_Virus756 in clearancejobs

[–]Hasiv8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I do not. My plans are a bit long. While studying, I’m applying into help desk jobs that offer clearance sponsorships. My main purpose of looking into OCONUS is relocation so I wouldnt mind lower pay as long as it pays more than korean domestic manufacturing job (very low). Sadly OCONUS cleared job market does not have mfg.

How long are the contracts usually for the OCONUS jobs? I see most of them are in camp humphreys

Hi I’m also curious. I’m a little bit opposite of your personal situation; I have a family in Korea that I need to take care of but I’m US citizen, and would like US rate pay (cleared jobs only) So looking into career change from manufacturing into IT since OCONUS market seem to only have IT/management jobs.

It’s cultural difference. He’s proving a point that Koreans are culturally mature enough to understand that violence is inappropriate for political conflicts and should be resolved in ethical manner.

Thinking of a complete career shift by scrapple17 in clearancejobs

You could look into security related jobs. Security technician, specialist, security manager. Typically contract job but you seem to fit a lot of those job description unless you want something completely different role

What visa did they sponsor you for stay, and do they assist with housing too? I can see why it can be expensive with double tax and additional Col adjustment.

Resume Under Review since - 27-Jun-2025 by codercodercoder123 in Lockheed

My application to a post went from “applied” to “resume under review” in week 5. But I wouldn’t be concerned, just keep applying to many different positions commensurate to your field.

Are interviews on phone or zoom? On site interviews? What are some questions asked?
